  1. I use a layer group, with one black layer covering the whole image and one smaller white rectangle with gaussian blur, with multiply on the layer group to create a vignette. I have found that this causes Photo to run high CPU and become unusable and I have to close the program. This happens on multiple photographs but if I repeat on a new blank image it appears to work. I suspect it is something to do with the fact I have a photo which of course has multiple colours and the gaussian blur with the multiply option on the group, because if I don't have the gaussian blur it appears to work ok. It can happen as soon as I create the layer group, or sometimes it is when I adjust the size of the inner rectangle (the one with the blur). This problem happens every time I try this. This worked perfectly before upgrading to 1.9.0.932.
  2. Hi everyone... i have some problem exporting an object that have shadow using AD 1.7.3. Basically i have setted the blending mode of the shadow to Multiply and if i try to export the output seems to have blending mode setted to Normal. This is what the document looks like with blending mode setted to Multiply: This is the exported version: To avoid the problem i have to set the blending mode to Normal and try to get the right darken shadow color. Export_with_Shadow.afdesign
  3. I am at Page 82 of the Affinity Designer Workbook and followed the instructions to change the Inner Glow layer effect from Normal to Multiply, Screen, etc... but I don't see any change happening. I have a couple of questions: 1) Where can I see the 2 colors that should take part in the blending effect? I only see one gradient color in the Eyeball layer. 2) What should I see by changing the Blend mode in the Workbook example?
  4. I'm trying to create a portrait with other images showing through the image (Double Exposure Effect?) I seem to be struggling with the layer mask side of things adding in multiple textures to achieve the effect. Please can anyone assist me? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks PP
