  1. Here's a really trivial one. But I thought you'd like it. Hover over number field. Roll mouse. It changes number incrementally, one at a time. Cute extra effect: Hold Shift and it moves 10 at a time. And hold Ctrl and it moves 0.1 at a time. But... the Ctrl tweak only works on left Ctrl. Not right Ctrl. On Win10. Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard. Not losing sleep about this one.
  2. I recently did some testing of publisher by making a brochure with a lot of text. I noticed some weird behaviour when moving around in my document using my apple magic (touch) mouse: the linespacing changed suddenly and another time the text size increased as if by ghost hands... I researched and found there is a (some might say) *neat* feature to change values of input fields by just hovering above and scrolling the "mouse-wheel" – but this sometimes also happens when my mouse-pointer is somewhere else. Although it may be an interesting idea, I consider it a bad implementation, and in some cases it's also buggy. Sometimes it interferes with scrolling inside a panel (like a webpage containing an annoying iframe...). Increasing line-spacing of text that has already gotten a paragraph-style just by accidentally scrolling over the input field is not good. Maybe this is a good feature in AfDesigner, where you do much less text and have to experiment with it, e.g. logo-design, but not for type-setting large amounts of text in explicit defined typography.
  3. During trial, I was able to scroll the touch ring on my Wacom Intuos Pro for zooming ( couldn't do pinching as I always do in Illustrator). Today just purchased Affinity Designer, I can't zoom with anything. Rotating the touch ring only scroll up and down. Any fix?
  4. Does the layer list get activated when the mouse cursor moves above it? If so, what would people like the idea to be able to assign Ctrl, Alt or Shift as modifiers to mouse wheel, to be applied to that list? Functions like: Ctrl+Wheel = Move Selected layer up/down Shift+Wheel = Select layers up/down Alt+Wheel = Change layer transparency/mode Other functions to enable with modifiers could be like: wheel Up = Show layer wheel Down = Hide layer wheel Up = Select widget tabs right wheel down = Select widget tabs left
  5. Is there a way to set the mouse wheel to zoom instead of scroll? This would mimic the default behavior of CorelDraw and a setting that can be enabled in Inkscape. I am married to the mouse wheel zoom. It serves as zoom, scroll and pan all in one.
  6. I‘m accustomed to use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out. This I can activate in the preferences. But then i miss the possibility of horizontal movement (left/right). I think this is a little bug that can easiliy corrected. Movements without any changing: mouse wheel = vertical movement (up/down) mouse wheel + Alt = vertical movement, too mouse wheel + Strg = zoom mouse wheel + Shift = horizontal movement (left/right) Movements, when in preferences/tools/“use mouse wheel to zoom“ is activated: mouse wheel = zoom mouse wheel + Alt = zoom, too mouse wheel + Shift = zoom, too mouse wheel + Strg = vertical movement (up/down)
  7. Would like to be able to zoom the other way around on the mouse wheel. I have all my other design apps setup the other way around, but can't seem to do that with this one.
