  1. A Little Monster Added a small asset collection from Santa Baby (Does not need to be!) Vector Configurations of the Little Monster and associated vector. Files as displayed AD 2.3 File not asset library! Little Monsters Toolkit.zip
  2. Ice cream monster. 🍦 He could never enjoy ice cream without people laughing. Based on a concept by Paul Gill. 3D scene created using MoI 3D and ZBrush, rendered using Keyshot, post-processing / color grading in Affinity Photo. More where this came from: metinseven.nl
  3. Hello everyone, Back with another illustration. Similar to “Light houses” this one is also a mixture of vector illustration with photography. The main vector objects (the monsters/creatures) where made in Affinity Designer then moved into Affinity Photo where I started with the background, removing all the people, followed by removing any text on the signs and labels around the train and replace it with my own text (a bit over kill since there kinda small to read and most people will never see it but was still fun to do) followed by placing the vector objects in, colour correcting the scene and adding shadows and other textuers such as dust and lens scratches. Overall the project was fun to mess around with and I’m happy with how it came out. Made with Affintiy Photo + Affinity Designer and made on the iPad Pro. Main image: Close Up: How it was made: Thank you for your time, Andrew.
  4. I drew a potato! I have no other words, haha!

  7. Today's little exercise as I get familiar with working on screen: A spoof birthday card.
  8. Im sending out some some posters in the next week as promotional items to go with this I have created an A4 vertical folded brochure, with an eye catching front illustration and a brief internal portfolio. I'm set on the layout (wording is WIP) just waned to get any thoughts or comments, is the font illustration too yucky? I did have a more simple ice cream illustration on my last version but I (and my daughter) felt it was too boring and not really my true illustration style...which I think the new one is.
  9. This little guy is Marvin, I stumbled upon him whilst finishing of a Marmite themed bit of artwork yesterday. Played with him and developed his character a lot more today, I have to say I really like him....and I may well adopt him to do more.
  10. Words can not describe how happy I'm with how masks work in Affinity
  11. hello, I tested affinity designer, a true wonder with a bright future without a doubt. Monster.afdesign
  12. In an attempt to break me in, I decided to jump right in and make a large A3 piece. Going well so far, although missing not having an eye drop tool to sample things, hopefully the idea is once I have completed this I should have sussed affinity to a comfortable level. Things I love so far: • Effects are presented in one easy place with sliders • The path tools, once I figured out how to add points etc I'm finding them beautiful to use. • I don't have so many pallets open to achieve the same work as I do in Illustrator I have come across a couple of bugs, my tool bar got stuck to the foot of the window and then vanished, My artboard started flashing on and off at one point after drawing a box and I had to re-start
  13. Sneak peak of the piece Im working on at the moment...It's got a tad complicated, but I have to report the software has not lagged, frozen or crashed once. So pleased with it, I had to finish a couple of projects in illustrator earlier and missed Affinity.
