  1. System information: Operating system: Windows 10 (Anniversary Update) Dual monitor setup One monitor is a 4K screen (3840 x 2160) set to 250% scaling The other monitor is (1920 x 1080) set to 100% scaling Affinity Photo Version: 1.5.1.54 Steps to reproduce: Simply open Affinity Photo in the 100% scaled monitor. Select a tool (other than Move Tool), and move cursor over your image, it will be very large and pixelate (see screenshot with View Tool, large hand icon) Other Notes: If you move Affinity back to the high DPI display, tool cursor is perfect there. Move Tool, which seems to just use default cursor does not have this issue. Otherwise, I am super impressed how well Affinity works already on High DPI displays and multi monitors, it's not yet perfect, but far far better than a large number of Windows programs and competing photo editing apps. Well done!!

Zoom issues when using external monitor

Find a demonstration in the video attached. When I drag the Affinity Designer window from my laptop's monitor to an external monitor and then zoom or resize the window, the displayed elements and wireframes desynchronize. The visual display is not where it is supposed to be. I remember having this on Windows as well. affinity-bug.mp4

    Huge Glitch !!! Do something

I think it is my third or fourth time that I write something about this bug, and it is a huge one. I am sick to write about it, I am sick to still get it, I am sick of all the news about Affinity and still having this huge issue. Happily this tool is not too costy, but I have to admit that is it maybe it is F-word Crap! I'll go bak to Illustrator, seriously I just can't work with this. The devs should be ashamed sorry to say something as harsh and negative, I always talked to my colleagues and friends in the business like Affinity designer is a a good tool, but with that kind of bug I can't say it anymore, seriously you guys do F-word something just do it!!!! Here's the thing for the fourth times at least, when I work with Affinity Designer on my MacBook Pro 15" 2016, 4BG Radeon 460, 16BG Ram, Intel i7 2.9Ghz, latest MacOS and that I connect a second display and I want to work on that 32" 2K display, there is some few manipulations that creates glitch that makes things disappear. Like if I draw a square and I zoom in it is gonna disappear partly or entirely, then I zoom out and still there is a glitch. It is the only tool that does that, After Effects works fine, Sketch works fine, only Affinity Designer. Don't work on new features, don't do anything but bug fixes please guys seriously stop everything just do bug fixes, not just tis one, It may have others, but this one is pretty annoying and huge, for f**** sake! People don't all works on the monitor of their laptop!!! Thank You

    Problems with external monitor

Every time I connect an external monitor, whatever project(s) I have opened turns completely black, the only way to solve it is by closing and opening the project again.
  5. Hi! I'm new to Affinity. I'm trying the mac version with a iPad version as well. It's a great workflow to use it on-the-go, and finished my work when I back home. But I tried to replicate a great feature I had in PS. A dual monitor view. In PS I could replicate the window I'm woking on, and edit one on my cintiq (zooming, rotating without effect on the other) and watch the result in fit mode, on second monitor. I'm missing something, or it's not possible (I hope yet) this feature? Thanks

  7. I work in Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer with two monitors each. On the second are always my panels. When I start Affinity and I have not yet turned on the second monitor, the panels on the main monitor appear in the same order as they were on the second monitor. Now I haveto push the Panels manually again to the second monitor. Is there a way that Affinity basically puts the panels on the second monitor, even if it is not yet switched on?
  8. I am having a bunch of issues any time I am connected to a monitor and try to do any edits to my files: Most of the time the workspace will pop up completely black, which I can fix by dragging it back to my laptop screen and then back to the monitor. When I add text, it will often not be visible at all. When I try to resize and object or text it will work at first and then it will glitch and revert to the previous size or split in half/ other weird bugs. When creating shapes, the shape will not always fill in completely with the selected color or it will create multiple shapes across the page. I have also had some issues with a mirror image flashing on the opposite side of the screen which i can't remove unless i shut down Affinity completely.
  9. Tools, toolbars, and studio items are not displayed when the window is moved to a second monitor. Two 4k monitors are used. These are the Data from my Videocards: 1. On board: Intel HD Graphics 530 (3840x2160, 60 Hz) 2. Second Videocard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 956M (3840x2160, 30 Hz) 3. RAM/ Videocard 4169 MB
  10. Do Affinity apps support multiple monitor?
  11. Hi all :-) I've got a question I hope is not to far off. My screen is calibrated to a white point of 5500. The result of that is that when my photos are shown on others screens they tend to be to cold or blue/greenish. Is there a way to fix this quickly in Affinity? Adjusting several photos at once? If I do have to adjust each photo adjusting the white balance (which is what I have to do?), does the scale compare to the difference between D-55 and D-65? I hope I have expressed myself somewhat clearly... Cheers Peter C-)
  12. I don’t know if that’s anything you have an influence on but when I plug my large monitor into my laptop to work with both screens (with the large monitor being the primary working space) the arrangement of panels and toolbars gets quite screwed up. Is there anything that can be done so that AD detects the screen size and arranges panels as closely as possible to the previous relative positions? For instance, if I have the side panels attached to the right edge of my small laptop screen, attach them to the right edge of my large screen, too, etc.
  13. Hi, I run into performance issues with AP ... but i hear so many are very happy with AP concerning performance. I read more in the forum, and the only time I saw comparable performance comments as i experience, was when people used large displays. As my hardware is powerful enough and other programs do not suffer from bad performance. So i thought i ask for feedback from you, my question would be: What monitor and resolution do you have, and how is your performance? My two answers would be: Dell 32 inch 4k; bad performance Macbook Retina; ok performance I would be thankful for your input. All the best Sascha
  14. Hi- It would be really helpful if the waveform could respond in real time when certain tools are employed (exposure, temperature, tint, blackpoint, brightness, contrast, saturation—anything to do with overall color, contrast and exposure). In the video world I'm used to seeing real time feedback, and this is very helpful when quickly adjusting contrast, or manually white balancing the image using the parade waveform. I love that someone has put these tools in a stills app. I bought Affinity for that reason alone. Thanks.
