  1. Team, Thank you for checking out my question. I really just hope that I am blind or not selecting something correctly. But I cannot find the Transparency tool. Can some one help me. I believe the icon is suppose to be a mini wine glass, but I cannot find it.. I provided a screenshot of my icons menu... Please help. Thank you!
  2. So far I haven't found a way to add menu items to my toolbar. I would like to add "Export", "Group", and "Ungroup". Am I just missing a way to add menu items? All I've found is "place" in my list of wants. And is there a "close all"? And can I add it to my toolbar? thanks

    Installation Affinity Designer 1.5.1

I just purchased Affinity Designer 1.51 for Windows and ran the installer from the desktop and installation went fine. I launch the application and I'm presented with the Affinity Design Featured Work Screen and then choose New Document. The app opens with a blank art board and absolutely no UI or menus nothing. Help please. I've attached a screen shot so you can see exactly what's happening. Thank you!
  4. I've had a quick look around and couldn't find something similar... I use 2 x screens with Affinity (Photo or Designer; Macbook Pro + external monitor). If the external monitor is not plugged in (I'm out and about, for example), the previously, carefully position interface menus (normally shoved over onto the external monitor) reposition themselves in a mess on the Macbook screen. Unfortunately, largely sized menus such as Layers (because my external monitor is large) are not resizable when they are repositioned back in the Macbook main screen. The attached screenshot show what happened to the Layer panel. The only way to get it back is to select Reset Studio in the menus. So: 1. Any workaround 2. Any chance Affinity could implement a dual screen save option? (Adobe has it. I want to move away from Adobe!)

    Distort Tool Menu

It would be super awesome if more was made of distorting shapes. At the moment if you hoover the mouse over the protruding centre line at the top of any shape and wait, you get a little icon which is two arrows pointing in either direction, you can click and drag this to skew the shape a little bit. But they you need to keep rotating the item then turning it a bit if you want to adjust it and it can be a bit of a pain. It would be great if there was a distortion menu which allowed you to just selected pre-made angles for which your shape could distort too, so for example isometric left, isometric right, 45 degrees etc.. and if then you can add advance alteration like changing the percentage of the skew and the manually pick the direction that would be perfect! Really awesome work on the software so far I use it everyday now!
  6. I think in Illustrator, when you select a shape tool - you can perform a key command (I think option+click) to pull up a menu for that shape tool in order to pre-define the shape you want to create. So, let's say you wanted a rounded rectangle at 100px x 100px with a 20px corner-radius, you would be able to set those properties in the options menu and then click a submit type button and it would create the shape on the artboard for you. Currently, (as far as I know) you can only create the shape by clicking and dragging the shape to whatever size on the artboard. I'm assuming there may be an options menu for at least some tools, or a feature request out there for this feature already - but just in case there isn't yet, here you are. Thanks!
