Hi, I would like to report several memory usage problems: 1. Publisher uses around 11GB RAM at start with simple 30 pages project with around 100 tiff/cmyk images linked (300dpi pages with size 25cm/20cm). Nothing in performance or project settings helps. Memory limit doesn't work at all, the same for other options. 2. Memory usage is increasing every time I open/close the project. See attached screenshots. Just after Publisher starts it gets 440MB, then I open project and it gets 10.8GB, then I close the project and it drops to 2.6GB (!), open again and it gets 11.7GB, close it ag

Hi, recently I came across a bug or a strange behavior in the Publisher. When I try to open the Text Style palette, Publisher takes some 15–25 % of the CPU and freezes. Also it takes more and more memory till it's full. I've been working on a document for several days now and today I encountered this. The other documents are fine. Also opening a backup file I do every day doesn't help. Does anybody have a clue, what's going on? Is there a way how could I figure out, where's the problem? I am on the latest Publisher and the latest Windows. Thank you very much!

Please, could someone help me? I'm preparing some stuff in the Publisher. And I wonder, why is the RAM usage so high. All my images are linked none is embeded. But I get a full memory right after opening the afpub file i'm working on for several days. And I mean totally full. No other piece of software demand so much. Even 3D, audio, video applications. It happens only with the Publisher. Is it normal or is it some sort of bug? Thank you.

Hi all, I think I have another opencl bug. I export my work to jpg or png or any other format and have artifacts in the exported file (attachment). When I disable OpenCL, the artifacts are gone. Initially I thought it was the light settings in the file but unfortunately not. In the program itself, the artifacts are not visible in the opened file ,only after the export. There is one more thing. With hardware acceleration enabled, the program will eat up 8GB of RAM when I have the file open, if I disable OpenCL, the same file will only eat up 900MB.

I was playing around creating very large dimension documents in Affinity Designer & discovered that there is a 256000 px limit on the width & height dimensions it will accept. To my surprise, I discovered that I could exceed that limit in Affinity Photo -- at one point I even entered 2560000 px for both dimensions (!!) & although 'Zoom to fit' no longer worked & there were a few other oddities, it was still usable in AP. I could even use 'Edit in Designer' to open these file in that app. For modest (relatively speaking) oversized documents (like say 320K px square)
