  1. Hey there, I was wondering how i can do such things with the marquee tool in affinity photo
  2. I posted about this issue in the other forum, but couldn't really figure out why this is happening, or how. So I assume this is a bug. More info can be found in the link, hope someone can shed some light on this issue.
  3. I can't seem to get the marquee tool to snap to a grid. I have enabled snapping and checked snap to grid in the snapping mgr. I can snap to a guide but not to a grid. Help please - this is a big issue for me.
  4. I need Affinity to allow for the marquee tool selection be dragged over to another file. This is a feature in Photoshop. Can Affinity do this?
  5. When selecting a portion of a bitmap, the marquee tool does not delete an area. It also does not "cut" (cmd+x) a selected area. Steps to reproduce: 1) Place an image in your document with the place tool 2) Select the "Pixel Persona" mode at the top left of application 3) Select the portion of the bitmap that you would like to delete or cut 4) Press the delete key or the cut key (Cmd+x) 5) BUG: the whole bitmap disappears instead of just the cut or deleted portion. There are work-arounds, such as painting the seleccted area with the correct color. It would be super nice if this behaved consistent with all other selection tools. I realize that there is a crop tool, but sometimes you want to remove a portion of an image. Ex. a screen shot of a form filed and you want to replace the text. Nice work on the app though... kudos and I'm really looking forward to seeing this product give the incumbant a run for their money.
