  1. [ENG] Hello, I hope you can help me or give me a hint. In Affinity Designer I rely on forcing perfect alignments, which unfortunately doesn't work with the magnetic tools. In the example, element "red" is docked or anchored to element green. If I now use an extreme zoom level (3900000%) then you can see that there is a large distance to the "green" element, which I have to correct by hand. At the latest in the case of fine lines with a background, the distance during export is noticeable. How do I get the alignment better? The magnetic alignment is activated (tolerance 3; pixel
  2. I am struggling with a lack of snapping-compliance in Designer for iPad. To make things easier I have attached one screen shot with an example and another one with my snapping preferences. In the example I am attempting to satisfy my very strong desire to snap the red shape by it’s lower right point to the blue shape’s upmost point, yet it refuses to comply. Does anyone know of a way more straight forward than the workaround below? The one workaround I am aware of at this point: - lock the blue object first - select both, the blue and the red object - switch to the node tool an
  3. Hello forum, It is not possible to adjust the ring thickness to a rectangle. The other direction works. When I first make a ring and that the rectangle, so dock on its corners. I hope the picture explains the problem. I do not know if it's a bug. I tried all the magnetic aids. Thanks
  4. currently, my magnetic snapping is not working. It would snap only to guide lines, nothing else. And yes, I have the right settings for that. Tried restarting AD and my computer. Did not work. It would not even recognize new snapping candidates. Normally, when you hover over an object, it highlighted purple, so that it is active now for snapping. I tried this on another machine, did not work. I turned on "show snapping candidates", didn't work either. They would show up, but my objects wouldn't snap. Opened a new document, tried it again. It worked. But that doesn't help me.
  5. I created a document which is now ready for printing. I realized, that I made it to big. A few millimeters. So I created a slice in the export personna and some guide lines, to cut off 2 millimeters on each side. Now, slices do not snap to my guide lines, and I just cannot position it properly. If there is an other way to cut my document by 2 millimeters on each side, let me know. I just need to export it as pdf for printing.
