  1. Hello, I couldn't find an answer to this so apologies if I missed. I'm not a heavy user of the Designer but I thought it should be straight forward: Designing an UI for embedded device with multiple screens. I created separate artboards for each screen, all scattered across so I can see them all. I used the Export Persona to create slices for each on-screen element (buttons etc.). I need their coordinates to use in the code. While in Draw Persona, every element has XY coordinates related to the artboard. When I switch to Export, the elements that are not on the "initial" artboard have their XY related to that initial artboard. As example: - two artboards 320x240 px. side by side - both have a button in top left corner (and in the Draw Persona both have their XY = 0,0) - slice of the button on the first arboard has XY = 0,0 - slice of the button on the second has XY = 370,0 I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or maybe my approach is not right. Attached image shows example slice in a tiny artboard (71x85 but the element's XY=644,476):
  2. Hi, I have question about the Tone Mapping Persona tools which I really love. I would like to better understand what is happening under the hood when using Tone compression tool and Local Contrast. Usually for realizing what some tool does I use SliceTool in Nuke, which shows me what is happening with the curve after using the tool. On images below we see what tonemap tools do to the curve of the linear gradient ramp. Some results are pretty crazy like when local contrast is combined with Tone Processing. I thought that if I apply same curve as I got from Tone Processing with a normal Curve Adjustment I will get same result, which is not truth. Here is an example. I would like to know what is happening to the image under the hood with Tone Processing and Local Contrast. I am curious if this effect is possible to replicate with other adjustments or tools. For example lately I use 3DLut Creator with Affinity, I am interested if this effects are possible to recreate with tools in 3DLut Creator and save it to .cube file. If anybody knows more about this topic please enlighten me.
  3. Hi I was trying to install Affinity to D:/ ( a 256GB microSD) on my little go-to laptop running x64 Windows 10 Home Edition. Either by design or bug Affinity doesn't give the option to browse outside of C:/ When I wrote in D:/ to make it go to the correct folder I then got the following error: Not sure if there's a reason for this or it's just a bug but it's a bit of a pain to be locked out of other drives or partitions, please let me know if this is fixed in future.
