  1. Hi Affinity Still love your program I have a request for a feature. Right now I can only choose in the Fontmanager if a font is a favorite or not. So I have the problem that whenever I have to be aware of license issues I either have to look up the font for the license or the way I do it right now is to just put license free once in my favorite tab. I have a number of otions that could be done to solve this. 1. Have an Icon that shows if a font is license free or not 1.1 Best would be if this is set by Affinity itself but that is probably not possible since the license is not part of the font-file itself 1.2 Let the users set the icon themselfs--> Maybe collect the information in a DB to let affinity be able to give the information in the future?? 2. Give the possibility to create your own Font category, this would have the advantedge that you could not only sort your fonts by license / no license but also sort them for different styles like modern, vintage, crazy......whatever you would like to call them. 3. Do both the icon and the license icon, since both information do not exclude themselfs The way I see it there are only different lists behind the buttons --> All, Recent ,Favorite and used. So why not give the opportunity to create more that one of your own lists keep up the good work Peet@MD

  4. Hi! Can I use one Affinity Desinger license on my work machine (mac) and my personal (windows) machine too, or I'll have to buy two licenses? Photoshop has this option, you can use on two devices but not the same time. Thanks, and happy new year to the team! S.

Hi Forum, I recently downloaded Affinity designer to my surface and have been so impressed I want to downloaded it to my desktop, I have navigated to the products/keys tab on my profile (affinity website), I can see my product KEY serial but the only download available to me is the free UI kit which was bundled with the offer? Can anybody tell me how I can download the program to my desktop pls, Thanks BL1mey
  6. I am running Affinity Photo 1.6.5.123 on Windows 10 Desktop. I am administrator and have no problem running the application. My partner who also uses the computer cannot access the app. The licence is confusing. Is it possible for her to access the app or is it restricted by the licence or ?? Thanks.

  8. I installed Affinity Photo on my second computer and now it doesn't start anymore. Affinity Photo doesn't even start when only one of the machines is turned on. I deleted the %APPDATA%/Affinity/Photo/ folder on both machines and it still doesn't work. I also reinstalled the program twice and it doesn't work. It just crashes without an error.
  9. I'm new on Windows. I mostly ran Linux in past. My question is how do I acquire Affinity? Windows is kind of confusing too. I understand there are two ways: Buy from Serif's site. In that case, will it be a digital download? Then how will I receive the activation key or license? And if I change or reinstall Windows, will my key still work or I have to buy another license? Buy from Microsoft store. In that case, will I have a license? Or Microsoft will remember it for me? Will Microsoft store restores the affinity apps back free of cost if I reinstall Windows or I have to buy again?

Hi All, Sorry, I am sure this has been asked and answered somewhere here on the forum but I can't find it. I purchased both programs on my Imac and would like to use it also on my macbook pro. How do I get it installed on the macbook without having to purchase it again. I'm one of those who purchased it just before the discount appeared :-( but that's just spilt milk.-) I'd also like to get it on my I pad. Hi all, I am quite new and this question may have been asked though I couldn't find answer I was looking for so will create a thread. :) I am looking at buying Affinity software and want to know can I sell the content I make with it? Can any content I make be sold that was created though Affinity software? and is there any royalties to this?   13. Hello, new to the forum. I own Affinity Photo license. I had to have photoshop or something really close to photoshop for school. I went with Affinity Photo because it looked much better + it was cheaper right. Now when I don't study anymore. I find it more and more obvious that i need vector based program for my creations. Is it possible to somehow swap license from Photo to Designer (The price should be the same)? Sorry if this question was asked here once.   18. When I bought Photo and Designer I was disappointed I couldn't get it for both Windows and Mac without buying the software twice. That was a useful feature with Adobe. It didn't matter what computer I started the file in, I could run it on the other operating system just fine. At this point I may be going all Windows sometime in the future but I expect there are a lot of people out there who would be happy to pay an extra $10 or so to get the other OS license as well.

  21. Hello everyone, so I bought Affinity Designer quite awhile ago (pretty much in the beta). I just randomly noticed, that apparently I no longer have any software licenses for Affinity Designer in the Mac App Store, where I originally purchased the software. (the is only the 'buy' option instead of 'open') That way I'm obviously no longer able to update my software. That by the way does not apply for Affinity Photo. I honestly don't really want to buy the software a second time for no reason so I would be very grateful for any help!

During the purchasing process I entered my general purpose email address but I would like to have both licenses associated with my newly created email account dedicated solely to software purchases and registration. I know that ordering FAQ says that I should always use the original email address provided during product ordering: However, I would really like to change it.
