  1. Now that Affinity Photo is in the App Store (good news!) what is the license like? Can I install it both on my iMac and my MacBook Pro for one purchase? Ian
  2. I am running Affinity Photo 1.6.5.123 on Windows 10 Desktop. I am administrator and have no problem running the application. My partner who also uses the computer cannot access the app. The licence is confusing. Is it possible for her to access the app or is it restricted by the licence or ?? Thanks.
  3. Hello! I read the license but I still got a specific question that I'm not 100% sure. I have bought Designer for personal use. I also work at a company where I got tasks where I can use Designer. My question is: Can I use my own Designer license at work where basically I do not own the computer (Windows)? It is only me who uses the computer (and the software) but it belongs to the company. My guess is no, but I need confirmation. Thank you! Levi
  4. Hi everyone, i am thinking about swiching from Adobe to Affinity, but have two questions i´d like to be answerd first (so far): -I have a Windows PC and a Windows Laptop, if i buy the programms can i donloade them on to each of them? or do i have to buy them for each of the two systems? (found only a apple version of that question, and i´m unsure about windos) - I want to make sure if i got it right: Each of the Programms is 55€ or all of them (still cheaper than adobe) sorry for misspellings or wrong wording (German here) allready thak you, Ben Han

  7. NOTE: duh...just figured it out. go to site or in my case app store and the link allows you to install without purchasing it again. TY to the Forum for your patience. Hi All, Sorry, I am sure this has been asked and answered somewhere here on the forum but I can't find it. I purchased both programs on my Imac and would like to use it also on my macbook pro. How do I get it installed on the macbook without having to purchase it again. I'm one of those who purchased it just before the discount appeared :-( but that's just spilt milk.-) I'd also like to get it on my I pad. Do I have to purchase it for IOS or is my license usable on the pad also? Thanks in advance for any answers Alpo
  8. Hi Affinity team, thank for creating these amazing products! I am completely new to the world of graphic design. Like many of us, I have a desktop a laptop and a tablet. I was wondering if I can use one licence that will be applicable for all the devices? This is all for home use. Look forward to hearing from you. Best, A
  9. Hi, I own a Mac and a PC and swap between the 2 depending on where I am and the work I'm doing (only work on one device at a time). Can I buy an Affinity Design licence that allows me to use the software on both my devices? I hope I don't have to buy 2 licences therefore costing double the money? Jon

  12. Hi guys. I'm using at the moment Photoshop 5 and testing Affinity 1.6 for Windows. Looks very good and seriously an alternative to Photoshop, because I hate the subscription model of Adobe. However, my question is more the following. Is it possible to use Affinity either on my laptop or on my desktop when I buy one licence? Meaning, can I install it on both instance and use it either/or? I’m using Windows 10 64bit with an Acer Power Desctop 16MB RAM and a Asus Power Desctop 16MB RAM. Thanks for a quick info
  13. Hi, Firstly, just want to say, awesome product, & I really appreciate a reasonable & efficient alternative to the expense of adobe! Secondly, I couldn't find a topic that covered this, so thought I'd start one... Talking exclusively about the windows licence (not mac, and not cross platform).... 1) How many computers can the licence (either designer or photo) be authorized on for personal or commercial use? 2) By extension, is there a way to deauthorize a pc? So that once the licence limit has been hit the program can be uninstalled from a computer and the licence be freed up for use on another one? (thinking about this for when my old pc dies and I want to switch affinity to a new computer). 3) If there isn't a way to deauthorize a pc, is there a dead-lock on the licence limit: ie. if the limit for the program were one pc max, and I tried to install it on a second pc, would the program refuse to install?... What I'm trying to work out is whether I'm only able to install the program a set number of times before I'd have to purchase a new licence, or whether I can deauthorize an old machine and reuse my current licence on a new one. Thanks very much & all help appreciated. Best B
  14. Hello, I bought both, photo and designer for windows. Now I will get this week a iMac. Can I only install on 1 pc with the licence, or on two??? Kind regards Olaf Hunck

  16. I installed my Affinity Photo App in my personal laptop and want to install it in my personal PC also. Can I do that? If so, what do I have to do? Please send me instructions.. Thank you and greetings.!!
  17. Hi, Just looked through website and reviews and keen to buy this. My question is having both an iMac and MacBook Pro, if I downloaded it on one, can I also download on other - i.e. would I pay once, or need to pay twice? I work on both, so ideally hope one purchase would be the answer! Sorry if obvious, but I couldn't see answer. Thanks Steve
  18. I have bought Affinity designer on my mac, but I do have another computer with windows, and sometimes I work on it exclusively, the question is, do I need to buy the windows version to use it or can I use my account to download the windows version ?? Thanks, Erick
  19. Hi I need to be able to use Affinity on both my desktop and laptop. Both run Windows (7 and 10). Do I need to buy two separate copies or can I install on both machines? Or? Doug
  20. My question is if I buy a licence I will get a serial number and if I undersatnd it correctly at activation I need the email address I purchased the software with and the recived serial number. Later if I no longer use that email address can I change it or it will stuck to that address? Or its just a "data" and no need for confirmation?
  21. I already have Affinity designer on Mac but have switched to a custom Windows PC for graphic design. If I already own the software on macOS, will I be required to repurchase it for WIndows? Is there any way of proving I own a Mac licence?
  22. I need to work across Mac and PC and am really looking forward to a full suite of Affinity products that I can use across multiple platforms. Has Serif worked out a licencing for people like me who need to move files from one platform to the other and still work on them?
  23. My husband purchased affinity photo a month ago. I don't believe he signed in to his apple store account when purchasing because on the receipt he received his email address is listed as his apple ID, which is not his correct. We are trying to load affinity photo on another computer and can't seem to get access the application. How else could I go about this to get access to the app? I would appreciate any help in this matter.
  24. (The FAQs text is out of date or it might have provided answers to these questions.) Is there a licence agreement on the Website? I didn't see one. If I purchase Affinity Photo, can I install it on two different computers, not used at the same time? For how long will free updates and upgrades be provided? Yes, it's cheaper to buy Affinity Photo than to subscribe to Adobe Photoshop CC for a year, but if users had to pay for say annual upgrades then the comparison changes. Rodney
