  1. Here is the supported RAW camera list, as of 1.9.0 customer beta builds using SerifLabs RAW engine: Note: This list is for the native SerifLabs RAW engine only (this is the default when you open a raw file). On macOS and iOS there is an additional option to use the built in RAW image processing Apple (core image raw) engine please refer instead to these articles for their list of supported models: on macOS Big Sur and iOS 14 on macOS Catalina and iOS 13 on macOS Mojave and iOS 12 on macOS High Sierra and iOS 11 on macOS Sierra and iOS 10 on OS X El Cap
  2. Hello everyone! I'm slowly transitioning from Adobe and relearning a few things along the way. One area that I am having a hard time with is lens profiles. I photograph real estate with a Nikon D600 and Tokina 17-35mm f4 full frame lens. In Lightroom, there is a lens correction area and it automatically detects and corrects for the lens distortion. I have downloaded the latest lensfun profiles( GitHub - lensfun/lensfun: The Lensfun project Git repository for anyone else who finds this) but it is not listed. Is there any other way to obtain the lens profile? Can we request it? Is there a
  3. Is there a way to include a filter that can generate lens flare/sun flare in iPad version? It would be very nice if yes, because when we want to use some we have to do them manually with images overlays and/or brushes and besides taking a lot of time to do them manually, they doesn't fit very well with the photography...
  4. I opened a raw NEF photo taken with a Nikon Z7 with 24-70mm f4 lens in AF 1.8.3.641. The camera and lens was displayed accurately. The profile, however, was not implemented correctly. The image was distorted. I opened the same photo in Photoshop and the distortion was absent. Clearly AF does not correct the image properly. I've attached a file that shows a grid photographed and opened in Affinity photo and photoshop that illustrates the difference. 2020.06.22.calibrationGrid.1144.psd
  5. Hi All, I think I ran into a snag, I think it is a bug. In the RAW development persona the RAW info displayed in the upper left corner is not correct. The lens info shows the wrong lens info. In the exif info display menu option on the right, the correct info is displayed. After development the info is still ok in the other personas. I added a screenshot. I am running 1.7.2 on IOS 12.4 and IPad AIr 2 64GB.
  6. Hello I have a panorama image created by Affinity Photo (v1.7.1) which has produced a panorama (see below). This panorama features a Fisheye effect that needs to be removed (or minimised at least). I have previous experience with Jasc Paint Shop Pro which did a VERY good automated effect of doing this, but I cant get the correct results using Affinity Photo. I have read similar topics on here and explored the Developer Persona and used the "lens" tab and tried to adjust the distortion, however, the distortion works on the whole image regardless of focus. points. This means that the ce
  7. Hello Team ! Just wanted to know at some stage Affinity Photo will support Lens Profile for devices like iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei, Pixel and Mi by Xiaomi ? IN fact, today there a lot of people are shooting with their mobile phone because it is what they own and like but those devices doesn't produce RAW file the same way big brand does but some will produce HEIC, JPEG and TIFF files. I know you focus on Pro and Expert but will it be possible for small creators to also be taken in consideration ? Blessings
  8. Hi, After opening a RAW photo shot with my Panasonic LX 100 mk2 I check the lens correction box, but it doesn't recognize the lens. I watched the tutorial about adding lens profiles and added the compact Panasonic file, but still nothing. has anyone else had this problem and can it be solved? Thanks
  9. I added the GitHub.com/lensfun/lensfun's xml files for Sony (mil-sony.xml) into the preferences directory of Affinity Photo. But when I import my Sony raw files, it seems to not recognise the lens profile under lens corrections. I verified raw files' EXIF info - Sony ILCE-7M3 and lens 70-200mm f/2.8. Then I checked the XML file and found that only 70-200mm f/4 was found and the f/2.8 one wasn't found in the contents. How can I generate the values for 70-200mm f/2.8 lens?
  10. I read the following topic. I use the Mac version, but Affinity Photo uses the lens profile included with macOS. I'm using Panasonic DMC-GX7 and included in the lens profile list. When I look at the lens tab in Photo (RAW), it is displayed as a non-compatible lens. The same is true when I open a file taken with a Sony camera or Tamron lens. I think that the profile is applied but I am worried because I think distortion etc. are corrected when I look at the image. Is this normal behavior? Is it an error? --- Affinity Photo 1.7(stable), macOS 10.14.5
  12. I haven't been able to find an answer yet to my correction of chromatic aberration on my new I Pad Pro 12.9 with updated version of Affinity Photo (16561) I saw in one answer concerning lens profiles, referred to the "Lens Studio"....I'm new, but I've searched the Personas and not found a Lens Studio on the iPad version. Chromatic aberration correction appears to be an easy process on the mac version...but all I can find is defringing filter on the iPad...which appears to have no effect on the CA. I have previously used Camera Raw, and found a one button solution; but I'm a bit lost
  13. From my understanding, there are a vast number of lenses that are capable of being automatically corrected in raw processing, however, a large number of these lenses are either manual or legacy glass which are not automatically identified. Instead of going through the hassle of adding exif data (which has still not worked in my experience), could a simple drop down be added to manually select these lenses and the corresponding corrections?
  14. Bonjour, In Exif data, I find nothing that says exactly my lens was being use: -- on Canon 760D / Rebel T6s -- lens Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM [A] So, how can a Lens Correction be done in Affinity Photo? And how can I force a Lens Correction based on the Lenses database? Thanks
  15. Hi! As a photographer, auto lens correction is in need to cancel the distortion and lens flaws just like what Adobe Camera Raw does. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/correcting-image-distortion-noise.html#correct_lens_distortion_and_adjust_perspective
  16. The Lensfun lens corrections don't work on my system. I run Affinity Photo (AP) 1.6.6 on an iMac running Sierra 10.12.6 (can't upgrade to the latest OS as my printer network drivers don't like the latest OS). My camera is a Panasonic DMC-G1 with a Lumix G Vario 14-45mm F3.5-5.6 lens amongst others and this data is correctly recognised in the EXIF data shown in AP. I have tried loading the file with and without lens correction assistant options enabled with no effect. I have had this problem with all earlier versions of AP and Mac OS on the same computer. Lack of lens correction on AP is pretty
  17. Hi all, I recently downloaded & am testing the trial copy of Affinity Photo (v 1.6.6) and can't get it to auto correct for lens distortion when choosing the Serif RAW Engine in the Develop; Assistant, but it works fine with the Apple Engine selected. My camera is a: Canon G7 X (supported in the Lensfun database) I've reset the application and have completely uninstalled & reinstalled it too. It looks to be working fine with RAWs from other cameras. Original G7 X RAW attached. Any thoughts? Thanks! IMG_1484.CR2
  18. Recently I've grabbed my old Panasonic again. [Leica lens, 5MPix (2560×1920), 12x opt zoom, f/2.8] Nothing stellar by now, but still acceptable camera. The problem is: Automatic lens correction does not work for its photos in Affinity Photo. But according to http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/lenslist/ it should be supported. I've tested trial version of PTLens.on Windows and darktable on Linux and both handle the photos correctly. Tested with latest stable AP 1.5.2.69 on my laptop. Tomorrow I'll confirm the bug with latest beta of AP 1.6.0.82 on my
  19. Hi, It seems to me that the lens correction do not work when you do an HDR merge in Affinity Photo. Is there a way to apply this automatically when the files is imported and merged or after the HDR merge is finished and you click apply and go back to the photo persona for further developing of the image. When I use one Raw files this is not a problem, the lens correction is working. Christer

  21. Hello, When I try to develop photos with my camera Sony NEX-6 and lens Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN | C 016, Affinity fails to apply automatic lens corrections. This particular lens seems supported in the dev channel of the Lensfun database, but not yet in the release. I tried to naively update mil-sigma.xml but it wasn't sufficient. I don't know how everything is handled internally, but exiftool is capable of finidng this Lens ID "Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN | C" which is almost the same as the "Sigma 30mm F/1.4 DC DN | C 016" entry in the latest Lensfun database. I can provide a RAW and corr
  22. I've published a tutorial on how to create a photo lens in AD with symbols. Hope you like it.
  23. Hallo, as a user of DxO, I like to have automatic lens correction and then also the possibility to change it manually. RaBo
  24. hi, Do the Affinity photo have automatic lens correction profiles like PS have? that correct fisheye effect by camera type? I only found manual one. TNX
  25. I think in develop persona - lens - rotation, a grid should appear to help adjustment
