  2. Newbie here. I've exported my artboard into JPEG, and I saw that there are lines on the right and lower borders on the document. It's not consistent with the upper and the left borders that has no visible border lines at all. What do I need to adjust or do to on/off those lines prior to export? Thanks a lot to whoever who will answer! ☺️ PS: It looks like the lines doesn't show on the preview below, but the lines are visible when I open it on my PC photo viewer
  3. Hello - new user! I have looked on the forum and this has got me even more confused. To enter camera club competitions we have to submit images "Best JPEG" at 1400 x 1050 pixels and sRGB. I have been using Lightroom and photoshop an the "export" facility here allows the export to be preset at a chosen value. On Affinity Photo the pixel values have to be set EACH TIME. Very tedious. I have looked on the export persona to see if I can make a preset but it has left me totally confused. The first panel "export options" is OK but the others leave me totally perplexed and the FAQ / Help available is very poor - not developed at all. How do I use the "Layers / Slices" panel. NO explanation that I can find!. How do I use the "Transform / History / Navigator panel? Again NO explanation that I can find. For the questions that have been answered on this topic the answers are gobbledegook to the new user. All I want to be able to do is say export 6 jpegs in the same pixel size without having to retype the pixel size in the export settings panel - doesn't seem too much to ask. Most photo editing software seems to mange this!! Discontented Mel
  4. Hello and greetings. I got a strange problem, when I finish editing my pictures in affinity photo and export them, to forward them to friends on my android phone, I can't see them on my phone. (Galaxy A3, Android 8.0) I use the JPG format for exporting, since this seems to be the usual format for this kind of device. I tried different resolutions, DPI settings, changed the pixel format and the ICC profile, but nothing seems to work. The profiles which I used, where Adobe RGB (1998), Pro Photo RGB and srgb iec61966-2.1. The last one is displayed in the info from the pictures of my phone cam, so I hoped it will work, yet it didn't. Final workaround for now was to use a JPG picture from my phone and to copy and paste the desired picture in to that file, just too few and send it with my phone. It worked but this can't be a solution! Another point which may be vital, was the transfer from Adobe Lightroom. I used the “external editing” option in Lightroom to send the RAW files to affinity photo. The settings which I used for the formatting process where: tiff, ProPhoto RGB, 16 bit depth, 300 dpi, no compression. Question is, how do I make these exported JPG pictures visible and usable in my android phone gallery? I hope someone understands my problem and has a better solution.
