Affinity Designer no longer seems able to insert an image into a group, such as a word of display text that has been converted to curves. I've done this several times before in the Beta, but now Affinty seems only able to insert an image into a single object, not a group. I've tried everything, including the 'insert into selection' tool, the 'fill' controls, the 'paste into' & 'place' functions, etc. Any ideas as to what's wrong or what I'm not doing right? Inserting an image into a group is a basic function of any graphics app. (The attached image was done in NeoOffice Draw.)
