  1. I'm not sure if I'm simply missing a way to do this that's there, or if this is a feature request. For longer documents one great feature of InDesign is the ability to place a text file and have ID create as many pages as needed to accommodate the text. Can this be done in Publisher, or is it on the feature road-map? It's certainly a feature I'd like if I'm to seriously consider switching (which my bank account would love me to do!) Doug
  2. I'm using Affinity Beta 1.7.0.227 on a Mac with OS 10.9.5 and I'm impressed with it but when I tried to import text from a file the command "Importing Text from File" doesn't appear in the Text drop-down menu. I finally gave up looking after searching and using the Help menu and did a simple Copy/Paste but something must be missing. Suggestions? Frank B
  3. Trying to test a book layout ... 300 pages ... facing ... each page 2 columns ... any chance to get the columns preset for all pages? All text frames connected ... Or starting with one page (double column masterpage) and AP automatically adds all necessary pages to fit the imported text into columns of all pages? Or is AP currently more designed for flyers and small print projects? Cheers, Timo
