  1. Hello forum folks, hoping I can get some assistance with this issue and that I'm just missing something obvious. I'm working on a laptop (windows) and find that the majority of the UI (text, icons, etc.) is too small. Some of the fonts scale correctly to my system preferences, but most are microscopic. I have googled and it says there should be a UI font scale option or icon scale option under the User Interfaces section of the preferences menu, but I cannot see it (see attached - screenshot in designer v2). If I can't fix this, it's really going to limit my ability to work with any of the affinity v2 apps on this device. TL;DR: How can I scale up the UI for v2 apps on windows? Any help appreciated.
  2. Hi everyone I've been trying to not let this get to me, but now it has become too annoying for me to not raise it. You see, the issue I have is that the Affinity Publisher icon on the taskbar is a completely different size to Affinity Designer and Photo. The icons are fine on the Start menu in Windows 11, so why are they different for the taskbar? Hope one of the developers can take a look and amend. Apologies that it's not a functional issue but for a designer, it's just 'niggly'.
  3. Hi there, is it possibele to change the icon size of the layers in the layer palette? i have switched to a WQHD monitor and i`m happy with the extra space (comming from a full hd-monitor). so basicly everything is fine, but now it`s hard to detect whats behind theese little icons in the layer pallete. I´n on windows 10 and i know that i can switch the size of the whole interface, but thats no helpfull because then i again loose much more space.
  4. I was able to find a very simple solution for the Affinity Photo small GUI icons conundrum. I found this magnifying glass at a local store for $3. Now I can see everything! (BTW, the magnification that appears in the attached picture is not as good as the actual one obtained)
  5. Question: Is it possible to have a 'icon size slider' similar to the one found in MacOS Finder? Issue/situation: I mostly find my documents in 'icon view' but I am not able to increase the icon sizes in the Affinity Photo open document dialog, similar to how I can in the MacOS finder. Is there a way to do so or is this a feature request for Affinity Devs? Attachment: See attached screenshot of the icon size slider for reference. Operating system: OSX Catalina 10.15.3 Affinity Photo: Version 1.8.3 Any help or input on this matter is much appreciated. Thank you in advance. PS: if this post is in the wrong forum, then please let me know, and I will submit it in another.
  6. Please, folks, work on the user interface. Just making the sizes of the icons in the tool dock adjustable would make a substantial difference. I confess, I was really surprised to find that ability was not there. The default list of tools on the left side of the window (a) takes up only about half the space on my 27" imac monitor, and (b) is impossible to read without my leaning over and squinting. I'm 79 and my eyeballs are not in great shape, and no doubt I'll die pretty soon, so please hurry.
