Switching from Ai to AD I work with color, if I want to quickly paste the Hex Color Code which i have saved in my past projects to a current project that i am doing, this is not possible to be entered directly in Color or Swatches mode since the Hex Color Code field is not available in these panes. Refer image attached for ideal placement of Hex# field. It will be ideal just to have the Hex Color Code field present in Color and Swatches panes with out going through a long distance to get to it via Panes->Sliders -> RGB -> RGB Hex Hope this will be updated in the next version of Affinity Designer!

Hello community As I have learned, in CSS/HTML coding everything is written in small letters. But the hexa codes in the color fields in designer/publisher are always shown with upper case letters. So I copy that of course also into my CSS file. This may be incomprehensible for some, but the hexadecimal codes in upper case letters disturb me massively in my CSS files. My teacher's not so happy about it either. I'm currently manually adjusting the spelling of the hexadecimal codes - I don't want to get a worse grade because of that. Does anyone know if I can change the spelling? I have already searched through all possible settings, but found nothing suitable. Many thanks in advance! Mimi

On my test, the #7f7f7f can become something else To check, I'm using the colour picker inside Firefox. I tried with Gimp too, same crazy result ! The goal was to use it as an alpha channel... in Gimp, because it can export it to a game texture .dds DXT5. The only format that can be ok to export the #808080 was on my case .gif Gray. You will be able to find all my files in the .zip file attached, to check the colour exported, and the .afphoto to be sure ! If gray file, I can't make #808080, or a pure 50% black............. Do I need to understand something I don't know ? Thx for your help ! 808080.7z Here are different export from the same file, you can use the browser colour picker if you want
