  1. I am just starting to play around with the pencil, pen, and brush and noticed that the lines are smoothing. Do you plan on having a smoothing control for those tools? For drawing, this would be important not to have my lines straighten-out. Also,while going through the help menu I hit the back arrow in the upper left corner and it does not take me back to the page I entered from. Example, after selecting "About lines and shapes," I hit the back arrow and I don't return to were I can select "About lines and Shapes." I return to "Visual References." On the positive note, I love the ability to be able to use vector and raster in the same software. That is an all in one drawing program.

I am using AP 1.6.7 for desktop with MacOS Mojave 10.14.3 When I click on the Help drop down menu from the top of the screen I'm able to search, and on doing so a list of suggested help topics appear. When I click on one of the suggested help topics in the drop down another help search box will pop up. I again start typing in the search field and suggested topics or related content shows up. When I click on one of the suggested categories the search box goes blank. I'm not sure if there is a bug, if I have a preference setting that is interfering . . . . no idea what's going on here. It goes without saying, since my issue is with the help menu, that I am an AP newbie and clearly need a lot of help! I did a quick search through the forum for anything related before starting this new topic in case the question regarding this issue had already been posed, but I'll admit I wasn't very thorough. Thank you in advance for any direction or assistance you may offer. I am going to attempt to include a screen capture video of this issue. When recording the screen capture I searched help for "color sampling" just as an example. This issue isn't related to any specific help search, rather it s every time I try to search in help.   3. Affinity Photo please include a dedicated Preferences section in Help. I did a search for Preferences in the Help Menu and in Affinity Photo Help document and nothing matches.
  4. Hi Community Support, New to using Affinity Designer (and Affinity Photo), just today. But, wanted to start using Affinity Designer, first, I have found that there are some items, in the Help menu, not working. This is on a Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, computer - version = 1709 (16299.64) - should this help. Help menu... Support. Tutorial. Everything else, in the Help menu, does work, as designed. But, I have also noticed, when first starting to use the program you have the Welcome screen, which displayed about a Free Content Download (Affinity Designer - Free content downloads link not working.png - attached), but, though it shows a 'hand point' and it is clickable, when I do left-click this screen, I get the Please Wait spinning circle, for a couple of seconds, and nothing - nothing happens. No website. This same Please Wait spinning circle, I get the samething with the Help menu issues, too. Anyone else getting this issue? Would of like to start using the Tutorials tonight. And, can Affinity Support say whether the Free Content Download (as attached screenshot), is still available, please? Many thanks!!
  5. I recently downloaded Affinity Photo 1.5.1.54 on 3/15 and I am learning how to use the program. The most necessary feature which is the Menu for Help opens a defective Help window. The links open a tiny display at the bottom of the page that is too small to read the Help Topics. See attached images..... Is there a fix for this? Or at the least a similar help page online that I can use instead or until a fix arrives? Thanks in advance!!! JL
