  1. I select multiple layers to group. I expect to see some sort of option I can simply click to group, but I can't see anything. I'm using the Work Book, and a 'group' option is supposed to come up on the Contextual Toolbar, but there is no option to group. Am I missing something? Edit: right click, and I see the option CTRL G for group. Going by the Work Book, should this option be showing up on the Contextual Toolbar?!? Just curious.
  2. This is hardly life threatening but could someone please explain to me the difference between Group and Group Layers in the layers Palette context menu? Playing with the two they appear to do the same thing. I hope this is not going to be forehead slappingly embarrassing.
  3. Hi I am trying to create a layer which clips the layer beneath, like group with previous in photoshop i can get the layer to group and clip the layer beneath but the clipping layer gets lost. this is how i am doing it: create a photo layer create a rectangle shape above the photo layer select both layers arrange - group drag the photo layer into the rectangle layer the rectangle layer now clips the photo layer but if i try and move or resize the rectangle it also moves or resizes the photo layer also. How can i retain the rectangle shape layer as a separate shape? Or am I going about it the wrong way? Thanks PaulM
