  1. Wondering if everyone has issue with screen-sharing (multiwindow) support being absent? Could have sworn I was using this in previous (pre-1.8.3) versions. Serif, care to weigh in?
  2. Is there a description of the scope function available - what is it for - what can I do with it - what information does it provide? Best from Munich Desmond
  3. Hello all. Does anyone know how to get a shape fill with an image? Once I could do it but I do not remember how ... Regards
  4. Hi, I did many attempts trying to implement 'Content Aware Fill' function but I always get "transparent gradient" as a result! This screenshot explains it well >> http://prntscr.com/hq8x5v Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I'm having some difficulties with the usage of variables in the transformation fields. I want to resize an Object in relation to the document size - how do I do that? By the looks of it the transformation fields effectively do not allow any reference to document size but only to the object size. I can't belive this is true considering variables for document size interaction seem to be available. All variables described in "Variable for transformation related to page" (in German "Variablen für Transformationen mit der Seite") in the help file do not work in the transformation fields. The only variable working is "w" for Object width or "h" for Object hight. What am I doing wrong? Cheers, Timo
  6. For macros I was trying to do arithmetic calculations for rectangles in the transformation form fields - but aside basic numeric arithmetic calculations (that work out fine) none of the constants and functions mentioned in the help file works in the german version. I'd be surprised if other commands were used than those in the english version or those mentioned in the help file. Any idea? In case the problem is not in the code but between my ears maybe there are examples somewhere on how to use the constants and functions properly (some kind of tutorial or training)? Any help appreciated, Timo
  7. What I'd love to see in Designer is more love for Math! For starters, consider allowing Math functions inside numerical input fields that could benefit from it. For example, a function similar to this: Width: [ 0.5 * sin(x) + 0.25pt ] would make the line look like this: A little icon could be added next to the input field: that would bring up a dialog box where you could edit, load and save functions. Imagine all the possibilities! Next, having something like Scriptographer in AD would be truly awesome and mean we can enjoy parametric drawing like this: I know this is quite exotic request and would probably make more sense as a 3rd party plugin/extension. Nonetheless, I would like to know what you an others think. Thanks for listening! :)
