  1. Hi folks, Using Publisher is allready almost delightfull! I remember when jumping from QXpress to InDesign, lots of glitches and frustrations where poping on screen again ans again: here NOT! I had some troubles with the search and replace, though, but I guess it was my way of clicking too many times on the "Replace all" button. ;/ As small editor, one thing would made of Publisher THE total ID killer: Antidote integration. As you probably all know, typography is a quite demanding matter (and maybe in french printing even more? - Or at least with different glyphs) and transfering text is sometimes a play with lots of unwanted changes. Is this feature in the pipeline already, or will it be in a near future?
  2. Bonjour je viens d'installer Affinity sur mon Ordinateur comment faire pour que logiciel soit en francais Merci Hello I just installed Affinity on my computer how to make software is french Thanks.
  3. When I switch to French, the ‘Commands > Pasteboard’ submenu (« Commandes > Table de montage ») offers « Coller » (‘Paste’) twice. The second entry should be the French equivalent of ‘Paste Inside’. Additionally, the list of languages under Preferences is not alphabetical. With the language set to English, I see them in the following order: Default Japanese (Japan) French German Italian Russian Spanish English Portuguese (Brazil) English (United States) Chinese (simplified) It’s far from obvious why Japan is specified for Japanese, given that it doesn’t say ‘French (France)’ or even ‘English (UK)’.
  4. On the French version of the Affinity Store at https://affinity.store/fr/ the dropdown list offers the Affinity Designer Workbook in French (Français) or German (Allemand) but the workbook is currently only available in English or German.
  5. Hi all, I begin a series of French tutorial for Affinity Designer. Hope you will enjoy! Here my latest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-bNL8-27L4 VesGames
  6. I chose English as my Affinity Photo UI preferred language. My main OS chosen language, however, is Canadian-French. When I want to access Help from its menu, I get the Canadian-French version, which is not ...helping. Now, I can switch the OS language to English but then the keyboard mapping is all messed up. Any ideas?
  7. Hello, I just wanted to help you improve the french translation of Affinity Designer. When you go to "Layer" then "Expand Stroke", you have translated this action by "Agrandir le trait" which is not intuitive for french people (in french we would understand "Make the stroke taller"). Illustrator translates it by "Vectoriser le contour" which makes more sense (even though it's not perfect, at least people using Illustrator won't spend time looking for that feature). I don't know what other French Affinity Designer users think but I do know I've spent a bit of time looking for that feature when I started using Designer months ago. Anyway, I can't wait for the new update : art-boards, more control over PDF, custom rotation... AWESOME :)!
  8. Bonjour à tous, Hello everyone, 1st post ever on the Affinity forum. I just wanted to share my first Affinity Photo drawing and work in progress with all of you and a little review that will be posted for the months to come. So, let see the drawing wip first : Plus a nice layer workflow screenshot in detail : Here is the recorded time laps from yesterday : Last but not least, here is a kind of teaser for the french users/readers around that launches my deep investigations on Affinity Photo. I hope you'll like it. Affinity Photo, la "killer app" pour photographes "next-gen" ? (Affinity Photo, the "killer app" for "next-gen" photographers?) That's all for today :) richarre P.S. : the early sketches looked like this : and this
