  1. When I resize to 1500px jpg and change ICC profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 the painting has swirled pixels. This is only happening for the images of the sides of the painting. (not images facing straight-on) Weird. I turned off accelerator.I'm running on macOS M1 Max Ventura Version 13.6
  2. Hello everyone, my name is Federico and I have been a happy user of the Affinity suite for a few days. I'm experiencing a problem that I can't solve when I export my pictures...I've searched on google and here on the forum but I haven't found a solution. If I open my raw image (from Canon 6D mark1) in development and then work it as a file in 16 bit and adobe rgb color format everything is fine. The image is clear and has no defects. But if I then export it to jpg I find myself with annoying bands of color in the finest transitions. I have tried various export settings but the problem persists. The only current solution that works is to export the image to PNG which in itself I don't think is a bad thing but I go from an 8 megabyte jpg to an 80 megabyte PNG! Is anyone experiencing the same problem? Or am I using the wrong export method? (I was used to photoshop). I attach some images where I hope you can see the difference between jpg and pgn. Thanks a lot to everyone for the help and forgive my english!
  3. Greetings, I'm sure this may have been answered already, but I am having a big problem with exporting in Publisher and Designer. I'm really hoping someone can help with this... I've created a book cover for print, for a spiral bound book (which does not have a spine), and even though I have made the document with a transparent background, I always get a white background on PDF export. I have tried pretty much all exporting options. I have even exported front and back cover separately and then placed them in a full spread document, but still there is a white background where there should be a transparent one. Since my book is not published yet I've covered the artwork with rectangles, however the artwork for both front and back cover is fully rasterized (except for text which I choose to export as curves). Does anyone have any ideas? Does this happen upon grouping certain layers? Or maybe a bug with the Designer cropping tool? I also tried the solutions on both of these forums, but with no success: White bleed exporting bug Bleed always white
  4. Hey Affinity. I'll try and make this brief: 1.) I've bought into your Windows Program as soon as it was available because I loved the betas I participated in. 2.) I'm using the program to attempt production quality work and I'm running into issues that are common but they never have a direct answer. Setup: -Assets are created in 200x200 pixel RGB documents (300 D.P.I.) -Object Creation is created with "Force Pixel Alignment" and "Snap to Margins" set (as well as many other snapping settings that aren't displayed by guides or rules when manipulation occurs) -All issues occur on Paid version: 1.5.3.69 Windows 10 x64 Issues: -Objects snapped to Artboard boundaries are rendered with Aliasing Artifacts. -Objects "snapped" to margins aren't truly aligned with margins, scroll in far enough and the placement is off, likely resulting in the artifcats -Artboard/Canvas doesn't draw accurately when zooming Concerns: -I'm needing to create a tilemap, a series of objects sized the same way that can be aligned flawlessly without export/rendering artifacts. -I've created a full tilemap out of objects that have supposedly "snapped" to the margins and it's full of rendering artifacts (aliasing, object out of place, etc) -I've attempted to recreate a single tile in a 200x200 shape that results in the same artifacts, blending pixels around margins when I expect a solid color Finally I ask this: -All this considered, is there a way to create a 200x200 and eventually a 100x100 object that forces FULL pixel alignment, exports to PNG with Transparency and avoids using Aliasing- or should I find another solution? I've enjoyed your product for an extensive amount of time, that being said, I've read enough on these forums to see that Pixel-Snapping considers "1/2" steps, results in floats, and exports include the artifacts included. If I had one request; I'd ask you to create a "pixel-perfect" mode that forces objects to fill full pixels, consider the dimensions of the canvas only (no float values) and renders based on the working image (Retina/Pixel view, no aliasing). If I'm setting up documents to fail, PLEASE educate me- I'd happily admit I'm wrong if you point me in the right direction, as of now, the work I've spent an excess amount of time is going to require just as long to clean up in other programs to create the desired result. Good luck, thank you for reading my book.
  5. Hi, Im having problems exporting a multiple page PDF. It looks fine on screen and then when I export it, its changes some of the typography but only on one page. Is also pixelates this images on one page. The rest are the same. It is a large document. But I exported it the same way last week and it was fine. So Im not really sure whats going on. Ive tried changing the style of the copy and copying the style from other bits of text that are the same on the document. Ive tried different export methods for PDF and its still the same. Also not all the text on that page is being effected only some of it. Ive also tried ungrouping the layers that contain the text and seeing if there was any accident effects put on those effected layers but found nothing. I can't show the whole document or page because its for work but I've screenshot a small piece of text from both on the programme and the PDF (the PDF is the lighter text) If anyone could give me any help I would be grateful.
