  1. Hey, I am sorry if this question is already asked, but I could not find a solution to my problem. I just started the trial version of Affinity Designer, and I have the following problem: Consider two circles that are partially overlapping: Is there any way to remove the region that is overlapping from one object? Sure I could realize almost the same when I just place the second circle on the top layer and give it the background colour, but this is very annoying when creating larger objects. I think this is basically an inversion of the mask function, where only the overlaying part is kept and everything else is hidden. Cheers, Snizl
  2. So, hey guys, I've been trying to learn how to draw using Designer, I think I have been making some progress but a simple part that has been bugging me, how do you erase a curve drawn with the Vector Brush Tool ( I don't even know if that is the right tool to be used to draw with) Whenever I try to erase something I did a little while ago I rather not have to undo everything else I have done to get to that point, and rasterizing seems to either make it pixel-ly or still doesn't allow me to erase the stuff I drew before. Am I using the right tool to draw, or do I need to change a setting or something
  3. This is a very basic question, but I have created a drawing using the vector brush tool. Some of the lines got sloppy and I want to erase bits here and there. When I attempt to use the Eraser, it causing pixillation around the edges, instead of a nice, smooth erase. I'm sure there is a setting I can change, but I've looked everywhere and can't figure it out. Can anybody offer some assistance? I've attached a screen shot of what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance
  4. Hello, I am new to this forum and new to Affinity Photo Trial (2nd time I've opened app). When erasing any area of the picture there is a light grey grid that Is exposed. I know I am doing something wrong, just can't figure it out. I apologize if this has been brought up before, I did a search and could not find applicable topics. Thanks for your reply. Lee
  5. In Photoshop I can choose Brush, Pencil or Block as Erasers. In AP, I don't see anything similar to Block or Pencil. More specifically, I want the means, like in Photoshop, to erase WITHOUT anti-aliasing. Even when I set AP's Erase Brush Tool to 100% Harness, it is still anti-aliased and therefore it is no substitute for Photoshop's Pencil and Block erasers.
