When I started using Affinity products first, I thought it's not possible to import PSD file and edit the texts. However, I searched on Google and came to know that it's quite possible by turning on "Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap" option on the Preferences. It'd be great if we see this option turned on by default on the upcoming updates What do you think friends?
The text for export, especially .psd, should be fully editable, no matter if the text is curved, stretched or rotated. Maybe even if a FX is applied, but I guess that's a minor point. The lack of this feature is a major drawback IMO. Many of my clients need to edit the text themselves and most use PS. I know a lot of artists who need this feature.
I am using affinity designer 1.5.4 and When I am opening any .eps file which created in .ai (Adobe Illustrator) the file opened but the text is not editable, it came as curved individual elements. Any idea how to get the editable text?
