  2. Hi. I just got the offer to the mail where he says that there is a discount and the application for ipad costs $13.99, which at the change in euros are 11.98 €. However, when you go to buy the program, you mark me 14.99€? Could you confirm if it is a mistake or misleading advertising? I want to buy it but with the price of the offer sent to me. (sorry for my english) Thank you very much.
  3. Can I request for a Discount Coupon to buy Affinity Designer?
  4. Hello, guys! I had a luck to work both in AD and AP betas, so now I'm thinking about purchasing these products. But I have some questions about prices and their values for different countires. Should I choose exactly the country where I live now, or I can choose any other, that have more acceptable price for me? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello, I have an idea regarding users who have purchased an Affinity license for one platform and want to use it on an additional operating system. For example, I have both a macbook and a windows PC. I purchased Affinity Photo and Designer for my macbook, but now I'd also like to use them on my PC. I can't afford to pay another $100 for apps that I've already purchased. Plus, once Publisher comes out as well as the ipad apps, I'll be investing even more money into Affinity. Now, had I just purchased an imac instead of a PC I could have gotten these second copies of Affinity for free because with an itunes account any app you purchase can be downloaded to any device associated with that apple ID. So why should it be different cross platform? Now, I fully understand that there is a lot of software out there that isn't transferable from windows to mac, but it isn't an obsolete idea either. The entire basis of Steam (the game management service) is purchasing one license that can be downloaded to whatever OS it is available for. Plus, wouldn't offering this service add to the innovative system that Affinity is trying to create? My point is, a lot of people, myself included, won't purchase a second copy for a second operating system when I could just walk to that device and use it instead, or get a free screen-mirroring service. So for the sake of the consumers convenience, I think that you should consider making this a possibility. But what about people giving away their "free" copy of affinity for the operating system they don't have? Well to work around that Affinity could offer their purchases/licenses right through their website (rather than using the app store) and you could log into the app with your affinity account to use them. It could be limited to one log in per account at a time. Or possibly a verification of your apple ID, and the email associated with your Microsoft account. Or purchasing a license could simply come with two copies similar to Microsoft Office. There are a multitude of ways to work around the issue. An alternate option would be to offer a discount to those that have already purchased one license. I would be more willing to buy a second copy if it were only say $20 than to pay the full price again. I hope that your team takes this idea into serious consideration! -Kalahgen
  6. Hello Affinity. I heard from my friend that there was going to be a sale where you could buy both for 50% off (or something the like). Is this true?
  7. I went to the Photography Show a couple of weekends ago where they were selling Affinity Photo for £29.99 until the Tuesday when they finished. When I went online to purchase they were advertising a 25% discount on iTunes from £39.99, so they should have charged £29.99 as promised. I contacted ITunes to complain and they asked me to contact you, so who is to blame for the overcharging and when can I expect to receive a reimbursement?
  8. --------------------------------------------- [edit] This thread was originally about 1.4 updates in December 2015. The team have now also released 1.4.1 updates on Jan 20th 2016, incremental patches to squash some bugs—visit your App Store to update now! Read a little more about 1.4.1 updates. [/edit] --------------------------------------------- Hi all As many of you will know after seeing numerous beta versions over the last few months, our dev team have been working very hard and we're delighted to share the fruit of their labour with everyone! Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo both have new 1.4 updates available now in the Mac App Store, free to existing customers! And to celebrate these updates, both apps are now on a 20% discount offer to entice new customers, bringing the normal price of US$49.99/€49.99/£39.99 down to US$39.99/€39.99/£29.99 for one week, ending December 15th. Here's a little taste of what's new in both apps... Full support for DCI-P3 extended gamut iMac displays Pro printing including PDF/X and Pantone support Custom keyboard shortcuts More languages And a look at what's in Affinity Photo: Six extensions for Apple Photos on El Capitan Pro image stitching in new Panorama persona Live image stacks And Affinity Designer: Artboards! Custom rotation centre We've packed in plenty more too, more than some devs would add in paid upgrades :) There is also improved PSD compatibility, updated RAW support, improved typography, Split Screen on El Cap, workflow and performance improvements—all across both apps. Visit your Mac App Store update page to get your hands on the good stuff and see what else has been added in the 1.4.1 incremental updates. As always there is useful info on the Mac App Store pages for Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo and you can check out the overview videos on our blog. Thanks guys, you've knocked it out the park yet again! Thanks for reading, Dale.
  9. Hi, I thought the Affinity Designer was discounted until Christmas Eve? But only Photo is appearing as discounted in the App store? Thanks
  10. Hi there, Yesterday (July 23rd) I purchased the app and didn't receive the 20% discount that was supposed to be offered until the 23rd. I called Apple and the Senior advisor said that it was probably because you guys are in the UK and pulled the discount on YOUR July 23rd. They said they couldn't issue me the discount, only the developer could. Thanks, Kristen
  11. When I bought my copy of Affinity, it said that there was a 20% discount until 23 July. Is that 20% of $39.99? If so, I didn't get my discount. Thank you... Oberoi
