  1. I'm trying to precisely place a rectangle. The canvas is 34x34. The rectangle is 34x34, at (0,0), so the rectangle should fill the canvas, but it doesn't. Note the very small edge of the transparent canvas background showing through on the right edge. This leads me to mistrust all the sizing and placing features, on all my layers, most hidden in the uploaded image.
  2. I am evaluating the 3 Affinity products to replace Adobe. When exporting a document to PDF, every word in the document with "ff" and "ss" are all replaced with a square box. See attachments to view the problem. I have tried every PDF type. The only one that doesn't do this is when I rasterize the file but then it's pages that look like photos and is 30mb in size. This defeats the purpose of PDF. Please advise.
  3. First I import .pdf file which was created using Illustrator (ORIGINAL.pdf) then I import it to Designer and everything looks fine until I save it and re-open it with Affinity Designer. TESTa is a result of saved document. Check also ORIGINAL.pdf print screen opened by Affinity Designer and reopened after saved with Affinity Designer . ORIGINAL.pdf TESTa.pdf
