  1. In the attached file, I am unable to delete the top layer. Attempting to delete it caused its contents to become invisible. But the layer still shows in the list and when I zoom in on the place where the layer boundary was, there is still a selection highlight showing that won't go away. Both Affinity designer and Affinity photo are having the same problem with this file. ICMC poster.afdesign

    Cannot delete layer

The forum changed, hope this is the right place to post Bug reports for Affinity Photo RC (since it's the version submitted to the App Store, I imagine it will be in the final build as well). When a selection is active (tested with the "Free hand selection tool"), clicking the garbage bin icon at the bottom of the Layers panel will not delete the active layer. A history stack entry is generated, though. If this behaviour is by design (I don't see why that would make sense though), the button should be disabled and grayed out instead of just doing nothing.
  3. Deleting a layer does not work. Click add new layer or add new pixel layer, then select it, then click the trash bin. The layer does not delete. Dragging the layer to the trash bin also does not work.
