  1. Windows 10 Home 1903, Designer 1.7.1.404. Some people might think this as being too picky but others might think it is a major problem for them so I’ll report this as a bug and see what happens. The attached GIF shows the problem much better than I could explain it. Watch how the dashes on the curve change shape. Sometimes they’re fine but at other times they look really bad. Modifying the curve or zooming in/out alter how the curve is drawn. This bug report comes from this forum thread: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/95564-minsk-tramway-incl-metro-transit-diagram/ line-with-dashed-stroke.afdesign
  2. As per title: a line can be either solid with a pressure profile, or dashed, but not both. See this thread for discussion and my current workaround, but it is less than ideal. Thanks.
  3. Hi all! I've only been using the Designer software for a few days, and I have no previous with graphic design software outside of Photoshop. My problem is that every time I create a dashed/dotted line, the dots never seem to match up where they meet at the start and end points, does anyone have any advice? See the attached screenshot of the issue. Thanks guys!
  4. Hi guys. I create a shape by Pen tool. Is there a way to make a dotted /dashed line around it? Thanks
  5. I am on the latest version of AD on Mac. I cannot covert any stroke to dashed/dotted style. See attachment.
  6. It's what the title says, a dashed line will look weird when aligned to the inside/outside of an object. Looks fine when centered. Please see attached image. Thanks!
  7. Guys, there is a huge bug which took mi few hours of life. If you create dashed line stroke and specify its offset (you call it for some reason phase) Affinity Designer is not able to export it as PDF. I was able to export it as SVG though. It returns this error: "An error occurred while exporting to: XXX" Tried to copy this objects to affinity Photo and it does not export the PDF either and fails with the same message. Please fix it. Thanks. PS: I must say that since that unfortunate decision to support Windows you almost stopped working on updates for mac. I hope that you will repair such bugs and introduced missing features.
  8. Please let me easily transform any vector object. With a transform tool I could set the perspective right, and distort groups and other objects. For instance: I have a group of rectangles, and I want to transform and distort this group as if it was a line. I have a rectangle and I want to put it in perspective, or make a 3D effect. It would be great either have a transform tool similar to photoshop and the ability to select for instance the outer corners of a rectangle and option drag them towards the middle in the same amount. I definitely need a line tool. I want to edit every single bit of a line. I the ability to make a dashed or a dotted line. Of course I could use cmd-j, but I want it as a line so I can distort it. Also I want dashed lines for rectangles, etc. It would be great to turn a group of objects into a line, like when you have a couple of objects and you want to put them on a path and behave like they were a line.
  9. Lines that were dashed in Illustrator do not carry over as such in Affinity Designer.
