  1. Hi Affinity, And Corel surprised the whole world, they did something that I am waiting for in Affinity Designer. They gave draftsmen the opportunity to work in perspective. The tool is great, I already love it. I am sending the link and asking what do you say? https://www.coreldraw.com/en/product/coreldraw/?hp=hero-corel#features Best regard, Maciej

  3. Suggest being able to import/export Corel Draw/Paint files. Corel Draw/Painter is used quite extensively in the engraving and sign making industry. Being able to directly open or import/export into affinity on the iPad or on a Mac would benefit many who prefer to use iOS and macOS.
  4. Trying to figure out if affinity designer or photo has the symmetric design or painting features and some cool sparkle brushes. i love affinity simplicity and how fast like a non-designer has learned soooooooo much and enjoys designing now, then i also love some features of other software and wish affinity had them. totally enjoying affinity!!! Thanks!!!
  5. Please add the ability to import CDR files. Lately, clients have started mentioning that they would like to move away from CorelDraw. You might be surprised how many Mac users are using CorelDraw via Bootcamp or Parallels. Now that Serif (Affinity) is supporting the Mac they want to migrate away from CorelDraw. However, they feel trapped with CorelDraw because: They do not want to lose their CDR files created over many years. In addition, they want to avoid exporting hundreds of files out of CorelDraw one at a time so the files could be used elsewhere. Here is an opportu
  6. Have just purchased a license for Win (works faster in a VM than Mac). Looks promising, thank you for that. Too bad no Linux support in your plans. Some suggestions, if I may. (01) Open file -> preview (01.b) Resize preview area (02) Simpler vector manipulations; now there are: (a) pen, (b) pencil, (c) brush, (d) node, (e) corner - i.e. Five (five!) different tools to do something that could be done with just two - (A) free hand (B) node editor. THAT could have been some major usability improvement. It
  7. Hey guys, Make the Affinity Designer able to import filesfrom CorelDraw (CDR files), because Corel has many users on the Windows platform, maybe we are more in number than the total users of Adobe Illustrator throughout the Mac platform.
  8. Corel ParticleShop crashes Affinity Photo - each latest version under macos 10.11.5. Is there a chance for compatibility in the future?
  9. This article (in german) shows how to move your projects from CorelDraw to Affinity Designer: http://marketmix.com/de/von-coreldraw-zu-affinitydesigner-und-zurueck/ -- Harald
  10. Finally found the right page... Would be very grateful if Serif could implement filters in AD for the file types above. Many clients are only able to provide files in these formats. Conversion to pdf and importing is a workaround, but adds a large amount of time to completing a drawing/project. Thanks.
  11. Another selling point for Affinity Design would be to be able to open .ccx Corel Compressed files. People have to gone through so many weird hoops just to open these old files. On Windows this is quite easy but on a mac that's almost impossible. So being able to open FreeHand files and the Corel Compressed Files in .ccx format would just be beyond belief.
