  1. From my understanding, there are a vast number of lenses that are capable of being automatically corrected in raw processing, however, a large number of these lenses are either manual or legacy glass which are not automatically identified. Instead of going through the hassle of adding exif data (which has still not worked in my experience), could a simple drop down be added to manually select these lenses and the corresponding corrections?
  2. Hi there, my client has decided after several months that they do in fact need the files to be usable in illustrator- yay! Does anyone know what the best export settings to use are? I've been using PDF with the dpi set to 400 so any bits which need to be rasterised still look sharp. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that would improve things further? Cheers!

  4. Hi, I am thinking of buying Affinity Photo because of:- the price, it is purchase not rent, it has excellent reviews and the online tutorials look very good and are English not American. Looking at the website I cannot see support for Lightroom's DNG file system which all my photos are in. Is this the case and if so does that mean I am going to have to convert every photo I want work on in Affinity, export it to a folder and then import it into Affinity, or am I missing something?
  5. Will the new AD support output of .AI files? Importing them is fine but my clients want their graphics to come to them in .ai format.
  6. Hello All! I'm new to Affinity photo and I was wondering if LUTs that other photographers make in Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom are compatible in Affinity. If the LUTs are ".cube" they should work right? Also, do presets from Lightroom transfer over to Affinity very well? Thanks
  7. I just discovered Affinity at the app store. I have been looking for a replacement for Apple's Aperture and am trying to avoid Photoshop. Is Affinity a free-standing app that will work without the need for any Adobe product? Will Affinity work with Nik plug-ins? Will Affinity work as a plug-in to Apple's Photos? Does Affinity have any telephone tech support?
  8. Are there any plans to add support for importing from Pixelmator's .pxm file format? It would be a nice to not have to export to PSD when working between two of my favorite applications. Here is an example .pxm file for your reference (I wasn't allowed to attach it to this post). Thank you for the outstanding application and support!
