  1. Hello I'm Chris, a semi-professional photographer. I wanted to experiment with focus stacking, panoramic and HDR. Someone recommended Affinity which I bought and downloaded to my iMac (running OS Sierra) a few weeks ago. I've used it successfully for some focus stacked images but have run into problems with panoramic. I made a short series of 4 images in RAW with a Fujifilm XT1 camera. They opened in Affinity which then stitched them together. But it left me with a stitched image showing considerably curving horizontal lines (not in the separate images) and uneven edges with grey chequerboard patches. I couldn't find a way to straighten or transform the image. However, much worse was that Affinity then froze my iMac. It wouldn't even shut down reporting that Affinity had stopped the shut down. I ended up having to unplug the iMac from its power supply. I'd be most grateful for any views on the problems. Regards Chris
