Someone recently sent me an .Ai file and after downloading it and opening it in Affinity Designer, I was met with a blank page. No layers are listed either. I had the person resend it and they said the file is fine on their end and the new file they sent also showed a blank screen. I'm using the most up to date version of affinity designer. Does anyone know why this is?
Hi, appreciate there's a lot of posts about the blank artboard issue on Affinity when opening files, I couldn't find the answer to mine so here goes: I artworked all our brand logos on Adobe Illustrator and saved the master files as EPS. These logo EPS files have been prepared for print, so they have their assigned colour profiles and brand swatch colours with fixed CMYK and pantone values. We have set up our colour environments to FOGRA39...2004) and sRGB...1966-21 in both Affinity and Illustrator. I get that Affinity wont import file-specific data, but can show the vectors on the l
I'm fairly new to AP so it could be a misunderstanding on my part but when I export (via File menu rather than Export Persona) to .jpg there is a small rectangle in the upper right of the image that is blank. The image in AP looks complete as does the thumbnail after saving to .afphoto. I've tried different viewers and also exporting to .png which gives the same result as .jpg except that the blank area has a checkerboard pattern. I have not had this problem with any other photos. I have tried using the latest Beta which gives the same result. Win10 / AP 1.6.4
