  1. Ok, this has happened twice now in two days and I'm becoming quite concerned now. I'm working on a relatively large file (seeing as it takes a bit of time for it to merge layers for example), but sometimes Affinity Photo will just freeze. I leave it, hoping it will resolve itself, but then it will freeze the rest of my computer. Then my screens go black, but not completely. Yesterday I got a popup warning telling me something went wrong and the only way to fix it was to hard reset the PC (which I ended up doing because a few of my windows were completely black or had an UI design similar to Windows 95, interacting with anything would either revert the UI from windows 10 to Windows 95 or make the contents black). Today, something similar happened. Long loading, followed by black screen. No warning this time, and I could see the Windows Start Bar on my main monitor and the cursor, could move around and everything but nothing happened when I clicked on anything. Had to hard reset my pc again. This time, I wasn't even working on my larger file, just a small-medium JPEG (although the larger file was also open in another tab) Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? I really don't want to pay for the Photoshop Subscription if this is going to be a common occurance.... Specs: - Windows 10 Home (V10.0.17134 Build 17134) - Processor: Intel i7-4770k - Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 - RAM: 16GB
  2. Hi, Just bought both Programs and there run fine on my laptop.... However when I maximize the Window to get the Application/s (yes on both apps) I get a blank black screen and can't do anything with the Programs. I run latest Win10 x64 Version and Current versions on Both App's available in the Store. Installed is a Asus Strix 1080 O8G The monitors are setup via NVidia Surround meaning that 3 monitors turn to on big resolution..... Def. a big bug here.
  3. Hello After wake up my macbook pro from sleep mode or screen saver the affinity designer workspace is black and I cant see nothing. After restart it is OK. Please see the attachment, this is after come from screen saver.
  4. Many time I close my laptop lid and open it again I find Affinity Designer with a black background. It appears as though it has had some sort of display glitch. I can't remove it unless I restart the program. Any solutions out there? See picture for example.
  5. Hello, every time I maximize Affinity Designer, my screen gets black. Complete black, also the task bar is gone. After some seconds the screen comes back. But on moving the mouse it changes to black again. It only appears, when the rulers are active Affinty Designer Version is 1.5.3.69 Affinity Photo is not affected Operating System is Windows 10 64 Bit I am using a Intel HD 530 graphic card with I7-6700 It only appears with latest driver version: 154605.4771 With older version 154514.4590 there is no problem.
  6. This bug is already there for a few updates. I (dis)connect monitors quite often during my work, since I have a small Wacom Cintiq for painting and a big 4K screen for detailed vector work. Every time I connect or disconnect one of them to my laptop (trough the HDMI port), something happens: 1. AF or AD crashes. Most of the time it can automatically recover my work. 2. The viewport turns black. Sometimes I can solve it by making a new document. When I close the tab of the new document, I can view my work again, but sometimes it won't. But everything works, so I can save my work and restart AD or AF. These two seem to happen at random. Very seldom, it just works. I have a first generation Macbook Pro Retina Display with NVIDIA graphics card. Maybe that has something to do with it.
