  1. When setting up a bitmap fill, you can rotate and scale it, and when replacing the image (especially if you modified the fill image and want to update it in designer) it remembers most of that, except the aspect ratio gets reset. It seems this is done because it sets the aspect ratio to the aspect ratio of the image, but preferably it would instead set the aspect ratio as: newFillAspectRatio = (previousFillAspectRatio / previousImageAspectRatio) * newImageAspectRatio so that it remembers how you stretched the texture.
  2. Publisher 1.9.1.979 on Windows 10, also seen on OS X. When I put a Bitmap Fill into a shape on a master page and then export a spread which uses that master page, the bitmap fill is limited to the original bitmap without the repeat. However, when the bitmap is rotated the fill comes out as expected. My attached video shows the process from beginning to end. This report comes from the discussion here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/136560-issue-with-bitmap-fill/ 2021-03-03_13-08-07.mp4
  3. I understand the basics of using a bitmap fill and successfully used it on a couple of images. I downloaded an .eps file from Depositphotos and opened it up in affinity designer. I tried to insert a bitmap image and it inserts ... but not inside the object. It inserts into the strokes, and the inside of the image remains empty. The image (as it comes from DP) has no fill or stroke defined; it's a crab with a transparent center. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Graf
  4. Hi Folks, how about adding BITMAP and VECTOR fillmodes as available in Serif DrawPlus? Such a feature would be highly appeciated, as saving a lot of tedious masking and cropping of objects. Anyways, you are doing a realy great job :-) BR, A.C.
  5. Hello, In Photo (Win10) is there a way to set a bitmap fill to be exactly 100% of the original size of the file that you use? For example: I'm using a pattern file that is 100x100px. When I use that as a bitmap fill in a Photo document I want the base pattern to be exactly 100x100 px as well. Is there an exact way or a way to put in a numerical scale value for the bitmap pattern file? Thanks, Jeff
