  1. Hi, I have a bird photo where I clipped the wing. I was wondering if someone knew how to clone a wing (probably from the other wing) so, that in the resulting photo, the bird will appear intact and whole. This is the photo that I would like to work from. Apparently, this is something that can be done in Photoshop.
  2. Hi Everyone. I'm new to Afinnity but, so far, after watching the tutorials, am very impressed by the product. I often find myself shooting birds in thick forest regions. The branches can absolutely kill the shot (attached - "Before" is a Limpkin shot at Corkscrew Sanctuary in Naples, Florida). I used both the Clone and Inpainting brush tools to remove the branches with the result shown below ("After"). I'm not happy with the smudging and discolouration that resulted. Should I be trying a different approach to removing these pesky branches? There must be a better way given the obvious power of this editing tool. Thanks all!
  3. I enjoy bird photography, both still and in-flight and have been using Nikon NX2 for processing. I want to move to Affinity Photo and I'm trying to become more skilled with it. Wondering what others use as settings to do final sharpening? Just revisited the Sharpening and Frequency Separation videos to refresh my memory about options. I use a Nikon D7100, and mainly an 80-200 f/2.8 and a 300mm f/4 lenses. I appreciate any suggestions or examples. Phil
