  1. Well I got a new idea but instead of writing Tons of lines I just decided to open a 2 questions poll to see if my idea stands. Well, can discuss about here but answering the question would talk better while the points will stand as complementary ideas. Blessings!

    Perspective Grid

Hello. I proposed a new mesh functionality with a perspective setting. For now, I created such a net by hand: Designia_Perspective_Grid.afassets Regards example:
  3. Hello Affinity. I would like to propose a new document grid. Is there a chance to add a perspective grid, making it easier to create drawings using perspective? This grid was introduced in ArtRage 5 and it is very useful. For now, I created this grid by hand: Designia_Perspective_Grid.afassets Best Regards
  4. Hi, There doesn't appear to be a way to constrain the axis of the Crop tool to move it horizontally or vertically. This is very important if you wish the Crop Tool to align to the edges of the image, it is not possible to line it up by eye, especially a large image. Can we have SHIFT or the CTRL key to snap the crop too to an axis as we move, or perhaps an auto-snap to edges toggle please? Thanks, Jay.
  5. I try to setup my AD to be forced integer position (just like the Slice in Export Persona) but when I drag around, I will get x.5 x.3 and etc.. Please help me.
  6. Dear Forum Member, I want to mirror a isometric Shape (picture) in 30° Axis (red line). The usual Mirror function only works Horizontal and Vertical. Know anyone how to do that? Thanks for help. Matthias
  7. I've changed the color and alpha in the settings for Grid and Snapping Axis on Affinity Designer for Windows, and I'm unable to reset them back to factory default. Could you please give me the default RGB and Alpha values for the primary and secondary grids? Thanks!
  8. Hey there! I’d like to request either a shortcut or a button in the menu to keep or reset the elliptic shape for the Depth of Field Blur filter in AP while or after scaling the affected area. For now it’s possible to hold down shift and constrain the transformation to the selected axis, though honestly I'm not sure when this will get useful for me right now. Not as intuitive but maybe a button in the menu would be nice, so after scaling the ellipse in width or height you would be able to convert it back into a circle-shape with the new dimension. Also the option to hold shift while moving the center of the effect so it’d snap onto the x- or y-axis would be cool. Let me hear what you guys think of this. ;) Greetings Dennis
  9. Hi there, Is there a keyboard command I can use to lock one axis when I am dragging an item along another axis? i/e If I want to keep it on the y-axis height I've chosen, but drag along the x-axis, can I press a keyboard button to lock while I drag so that I don't lose the correct y axis? Thanks
  10. Hi, I was wondering what is the point of the 'View > Grid and Axis Manager'? I can change the grid to dimetric, isometric, etc, which is GREAT! But when I'm drawing out a shape (e.g. a rectangle, oval, etc), it does not conform to the transformed grid system. It's not drawing the rectangle neither dimetric or trimetric, etc mode, but the same horizontal/vertical mode as usual. This way I don't see much point to the whole feature. What does the 'Create Plane Set' checkbox do? I don't experience any feedback or change in the viewport, or during interaction with objects, regardless of this setting. What is the purpose of the items in the 'Additional snapping axis setup' section? Don't really experience anything changing regardless how I set them. I was glad to see such a tool, but it seems the whole thing is just an 'eye-candy' of some sort without any useful functionality. Sorry, if this is not the case and I'm just aimlessly wondering why none of these features seem to work, but I didn't find anything on any of these tools/settings in the help file.
