  1. Hey everyone, I wonder if this is a bug or a feature: Current behaviour: If I use the Rectangle Tool (M) and then switch to the Corner Tool (C), then work on one or more corners and release the mouse button, the tool automatically switches to the Node Tool (A) – is this a feature or a bug? Personally, I find this irritating and not really intelligible, because rarely I get the curve right with just one click and go. Expected behaviour: In Designer V1, the corner tool remained active after the rectangle was converted into a path object, which I would prefer. Can someone please check if it works the same for them and/or if it is a bug?
  2. The Node tool switches to the text tool after (double) clicking on text to edit, whether in a group or top-level object. Node tool permanently changes to text tool.mp4 This is also the case when selecting text by double clicking to expand the group. This may seem obvious at first, but when I edit CAD exports (PDFs) you'll often find text to be grouped with text frames and/ or multileaders. If I want to remove those, double clicking on the text and the change to the node tool make this work more tedious than it should be. Node tool to expand group changes to text tool.mp4 Expectation I manually switched back to the node tool at the end of the second video, which is what I would expect Designer to do after finishing editing the text. When I have the Node tool active, I expect to continue working with nodes. If I want to work with text, I activate the text tool. So the tool shouldn't be changing permanently unless I activate it.
  3. At this point, I would find a function called "Automatically distribute columns to content" to be extremely useful. This function should do nothing other than automatically distribute the width of the columns based on the content. At this point, I have to go over here and adjust the spacing manually.
  4. Hi Publisher Team, great product of yours! I already bought a license. Just one feature is missing - the "Fit to box" feature, which resizes the font in each line to automatically fit the text box's width as mentioned in this post: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/70240-resize-text-automatically/&do=findComment&comment=363910 It would be great to see this feature in your product so that an effect like in the attached image would be easy - today I need to manually resize every single line to fit the text in properly.
  5. I have deleted art boards on a given document. Is there a way to automatically/manually renumber them to reflect the changes? For instance. If I have Art Board 1, Art Board 2, Art Board 3, and Art Board 4...if I delete Art Boards 1 and 4...is it possible to renumber Art Board 2 as Art Board 1...and Art Board 3 as Art Board 2?
