  1. Affinity Publisher 1.7.0.174 on a German Windows 7 (64bit) behaves as shown in the attached video: When changing a table's width so that its height also changes, artefacts may stay on screen (video 0:00-0:35). When trying to auto-fit a column of a table that already contains cells with more than one line, the auto-fit fails completely, breaking words after each character (video 0:37-0:50). Trying to adjust the width of the ruined column doesn't work anymore: The width refuses to get larger than a certain amount, which is too small for the contained text, even though the neighbouring column is large enough (video 0:50-1:01). The too small column can be made even smaller with the mouse, but not wide enough, and a second auto-fit produces the same bad result as previously (video 1:01-end). Defringe artefacts

Over the last few months I have started to get blocky artefacts when defringing. This happens in both develop and photo personas, but is more marked in photo. In develop it seems to be a preview/display bug and is resolved when clicking develop to go to the photo persona. However, if I apply defringe in photo persona I sometimes get the desaturated blocks as seen in the example attached. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
  3. Please tell me what has happened to this composite photo. After flattening and saving, when I enlarged to look at detail I found lots of black cross-hatching lines. These are still evident on the exported downsized image that I had done for our club monthly comp....

Nasty artifacts with dodge & burn

hi guys, I'm new to the forum and signed up because I've noticed a problem with AP when I use dodge or burn. If I use dodging multiple times, I have noticed some very ugly artifacts in form of a sharp, ugly looking uneven border in the area applied. Is this a known bug? Thanks
  5. Hi Affinity team, I created a 32 bit panorama out of 5 EXR files (64MP in total). Stitching worked reasonably well and the preview showed no problems. Then I rotated the panorama slightly, cropped the area to export and exited the panorama Persona with the option enabled to fill missing parts of the panorama (using "Inpainting"). Well, first of all, it didn't really fill the two missing corners the way shown in the tutorial video - it just filled them black. But more, on the left hand side of the panorama there appeared a somewhat regular pattern of black dots artefacts. Here a detail view: First I thought it might just be a display error but the dots also appeared in the final JPG panorama image. Please find a larger crop of its top left corner attached. This is reproducible. I just spend another half an hour to process the panorama again, and again it ends up in the Photo Persona with black dots on the left hand side. :( Affinity Photo 1.5.1.54 Trial (Win) Matthias.
  6. When exporting to pdf (pdf for print, 300 dpi) sometimes strange lines appear. In preview the lines disappear when zooming in. In Acrobat Reader the lines remain.
  7. Hi, I just tested installed today affinity from the app store and tested the radial and zoom blur and it has seriously ugly results. It seems that affinity is doing blur effects downsampled which is logical for preview but in the final result it should process the whole picture and not use only the proxy thumbnail which makes the artefacts. Also if the effect run on GPU they feel little slow. I have only one layer and the image is 3k x 2k the preview should be much faster on GPU, We do game development and we use blur filters in real-time 60fps on mobile on retina displays... The seems little bit slow in comparison. My Mac Book is Apple MacBook Pro 15-Inch Retina Display (2014) the first photo is from affinity the second one is from photoshop
