Hello Affinity Designer V2.2.0 Can we please have more precision to displayed number values, please? The number fields are rounded to 1/10th precision. At least I often need more precise values. When I type a value with more digits, it is accepted, but the displayed number value gets truncated. If you click the number box again, only the rounded value is shown. This causes errors if you do not remember the precise value you used. Adjusting number values in sub-pixels or 10th of millimetres with keys is a must (Alt + arrow key). This works in every other software I use. And very illogically, in Designer sometimes it works and sometimes does not. What's the catch? If you forget and in mistake use the Alt + arrow key when adjusting the width or height in the transform box (dimensions are locked), the behaviour is completely illogical: Locked aspect gets distorted and changes only in one direction no matter which arrow key you press. This makes it impossible to return back to the original value using keys. (Better remember where you started from.) Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to make these features work? Cheers

Let's say I want to open a particular page, but I don't quite know which one that should be. I would browse through the page previews and select the one I need. Currently, the Load pages input box has no clickable arrows and if you use the arrow keys of the keyboard (press left/ right or up/ down) this changes the cursors position. I would prefer that the up/ down arrows cycle the pages from 8 to 7 (with up pressed) or from 8 to 9 (with down pressed). I would also like clickable arrows (these are more easily discovered by the user), so I won't have to input all the page numbers manually, delete, re-input, rinse and repeat till I found the page.

Hello! The arrow keys and page up/down could be put to better use in the Layer Studio (or am I missing something?). 1 - When you hover the cursor over the layer studio, arrows and page up/down could select the next/previous item in the list. Left/right arrow keys could move up/down a hierarchy. 2 - Holding some modifier key (SHIFT etc.) while pressing up/down arrows could MOVE the selected element(s) in the list (as opposed to SELECTING next/previous). For both, it should not be necessary to click-set focus on the layer studio. Just hovering should do. Thanks! Best regards

Hi all, I have noticed that when using the arrow keys to navigate throughout the blending modes, the list does not scroll with it, so there is a point where I have no idea what blending mode I'm using. As you can see in this gif, I started using the arrow keys to navigate but after the Vivid Light I can't see what blending mode is highlighted anymore. This also happens with the blending mode list on the Adjustment layers. Cheers, Juan Scroll.mp4

There is a behaviour that I have been experiencing in Affinity Designer that I find a bit frustrating. I can’t figure out if it is intentional (and I should change my working habits) or if it is an error. Here’s what’s happening… If I select an object in the dartboard, hold down shift and press the up or down arrow key on the keyboard, the object will move 10 pixels in that direction. This is what I want. However, I select the same object in the layers panel, hold down shift and then press the up or down key on the keyboard, the object stays in position but the layers above / below are selected. This is not my intention. I would like the ability to locate an object in the layers panel and move it up or down using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Is this an intentional behaviour or is there any likelihood of this being changed? Perhaps there is a setting where I can disable this behaviour? I’m not one to complain. Affinity Designer is an excellent product, I already use it as my main graphics software at home and I’m trying to use it at work to replace Photoshop. Keep up the good work Affinity Designer team! Thanks very much for your help.

Moving Objects with arrow keys
epenrice posted a topic in [ARCHIVE] Designer beta on Windows threads
I found that I can't use the arrow keys to move text boxes. -
Hi, It would be great to have the possibility of increasing or decreasing input values using arrow keys. Presently, you have to either type in a new value or use the slider or side arrows. In Photoshop you can increase font size, for example, by simply pressing and keeping pressed the up or down arrow keys on your keyboard. I find this possibility saves time. https://cldup.com/7sHPBeCqSF-3000x3000.png

Hi. I've just bought Photo with a view to migrating from Photoshop, which I've been using for years. One of the things I do a lot in Photoshop is select the whole image (Cmd-a) and then shift it one pixel at a time using the arrow keys. When I try to do this in Affinity Photo, the marquee hardly moves at all when using the up or left arrow keys. If I keep the keys depressed, it finally begins to shift. But what I want to do is move it one pixel at a time. Surely this should be possible? I'd appreciate some advice here. Thanks Philip

It's impossible to navigate with arrow keys in the layer menu. Selecting a layer highlights it, pressing "down arrow" moves the layer downward instead of moving the selection one step down. I get the point, and I'm not a professional designer, but it doesn't feel intuitive to me. I'm so used to left/right to expand/contract a group and up/down to move around in any given tree structure.
