    Panorama Bug

Panorama feature does not work on iOS 12. After the photos are imported the program won’t stitch them together. It worked once but it was unusable slow and after that it didn’t work anymore.

    Panorama Stitching Failure

AP 1.6.9.81/iPad Pro 2017, 12,9", 512 GB, iOS 11 Hi. I stitched a panorama. Several times the thumbnail wasn't shown and the developement process freezed. Rgds, Frank
  3. 1a/. I am using the latest update to Affinity Photo 1.6.9.81 on an iPad Pro which is regularly updated. When I am making a series of panoramas from recent travels, in the previous version of Affinity Photo, I could complete one panorama and then select the photos for the next panorama and then stitch them to make the second & subsequent panoramas. However, with the new version of Affinity Photo, both prior to the iOS 12 update and after, I am unable to make a second or subsequent panorama without closing the program and restarting! When I select the images for the second panorama and then press ‘Stitch’ the App greys out the ’Sitch’ button and seems to start the process of preview; but then the ‘Stitch’ button becomes highlighted again. It is impossible to get the stitching process started without closing the App and restarting. So as this has changed since the update to Affinity Photo on the iPad I consider this to be a bug. 1b/. As part of creating panoramas, as noted above but occurring in both the previous and latest version of Affinity Photo, I know that I can select multiple photos from different locations to create a number of thumbnail previews for each panorama. I can then select one preview for the panorama to be rendered and then saved. This feature is shown on your Panorama video. But I cannot find out how to select the second or subsequent panorama preview to then be able to render and save them? Is this multiple panorama creation feature available on the iPad and if so, how do I select the second and subsequent preview? Or is it a potential bug. 2/. When selecting images to use in a panorama, the selection of the necessary images is based on a grid of square (rather than rectangular) thumbnails, making it difficult to select the correct images for the panorama. It would be more useful and make more sense to show thumbnails that show a/ the full image from edge to edge and b/ in the correct orientation of portrait or landscape. cheers Chris
  4. Can import jpegs from camera roll into iPad Pro version panorama persona but when I press stitch the calculation indicator twirls a little while and quits, the preview screen remaining black and no buttons for subsequent action are activated. In other words, there is no result. This was not a problem until iOS 12. Affinity Photo is current.
