In the midst of evaluating the trials, am finding Affinity Link very useful, with one exception. Choosing to edit in another program in the suite doesn't automatically switch to that program. I need to click that program's icon in the task bar to view the file and program to continue editing. I found this very confusing initially as my workspace would go blank and I wouldn't see my working file. Then noticed that the icon of the program I'd wanted to switch to was flashing in the taskbar. At this point clicking on it would bring both the second program (and my file) into view. Given that I find the icons for both Photo and Designer to be hard to distinguish at a glance (their chosen purple and blue colours and fine line-based design are much too similar for these colour-deficient eyes when viewed in a tiny icon ) I find that I need to devote more concentration to navigation than is really necessary. I often find myself needing to mouse over the logo next to the logo to see what program I'm in from the tool tip. This should be doable, no?

As discussed in the general Requests, Suggestions & Discussions or in the Questions: Metric system was created at our Revolution to unify with a simple design and simple way to count, and stop using all the old and complicated other systems with difficult conversions or no concordance between mesurements. It's a decimal system, with a standard meter as reference. Using non decimal mesurement is heresy and a bug I feel ridiculous to post thrice the same post. It would be nice if bugs affecting all the apps and discussed in the general parts of the forum was taken in account.

Of course it depends on the size / resolution of the monitor, but for me after 16 open windows / tabs (docked) the active window / tab is not highlighted. Instead it vanishes into the >>-pulldown for more windows / tabs. It would be nice, if the current active window / tab is highlighted in the foreground. Affinity applications have the colours orange, magenta and cyan in their logos. Why not using these colours to distinguish between the applications? When I started with AD, AP and APu I often clicked into the wrong programme, because the panels looked all the same. A small overline in the application colour for panels and windows / tabs would be enough.
