  1. Hi, Using boolean operations like Add on a bunch of shapes results in unexpected behavior. I know I can get around this issue by using "Layer > Geometry > Merge curves". AD-2021-02-22-1.mov
  2. It seems like Divide is having trouble when it comes to shapes that have been expanded from a stroke. I've been able to reproduce this several times, here are the steps and a video: 1. Create a circle with a stroke 2. Expand the stroke 3. Duplicate the expanded circle and intersect them 4. Click Divide, it will just sit there with a progress bar but nothing happens, I end up force quitting the app Screen_Recording_2020-02-21_at_8_16.19_AM.mov
  3. Hi, I'm experiencing a very strange issue with the "subtraction" tool in Designer. I'm attempting to subtract one very basic shape (a circle) from another (a rectangle). For some reason, if the circle's diameter is larger than the rectangle height, I get some funky artifacts showing up around the edges where the shapes intersect. If the circle's diameter is smaller than or equal to the rectangle height, the issue 'magically' goes away. I've attached a PDF of what's going on. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ryan subtraction.pdf
  4. Hi @all, I testet something in the new Beta and i noticed that the boolean operations are still not fixed but in my opinion they are very useful if i want to draw own shapes and i need this function often for my work. But see the Screenshots below please. I draw 6 Circles which are overlapping, so i have 6 objects. Thats is ok but now i select them all and divide them and after dividing i have 1076 objects. If i count what i should have, i count 31 objects, 5 from a circle and the one in the middle or am i wrong? Please have a look to this and please fix it. It´s very annoying that it doesn´t work. In Designer and Photo this works similar and if needed, i open an issue there too. Greetz Uwe
  5. Why can't I subtract circle A from shape B without getting the unwanted line C? Cut out.afdesign
  6. Hi, I have been working on a shape, adding and subtracting various shapes to it, and suddenly now when I want to subtract another rectangle from it, the rectabgle and the shape just disappear. I can't carry out any operations like that on this particular shape any more. What could be causing this please? Both objects are solid fills with no stroke. I have attached the file. I would like to subtract the grey rectangle from the beige object. logo.afdesign
  7. The Rounded Rectangle doesn't combine or divide correctly when it's on the left-hand side of the other object. It doesn't seem to matter which object is on top. Rounded-Rectangle_Combine.afdesign
