Using the artboard tool, the changes you make cannot be undone. You'll need to close the document without saving, and start over. The undo function does work, but leaves you with a messed up document. goes for imported files like PDF, but also native afdesigner files.

In the Pixel Persona, I have been using the Artboard tool to select portions of my image for exporting. Sometimes after clicking and dragging and releasing the tool, the layers move out of position so the area I want is obviously not correct. I haven't found why this occurs, but it's getting pretty frustrating. I have four layers all consisting of vector objects. Thanks.

Hi, I found the following annoying bug with the Artboard tool: I open a specific PDF file in Affinity Designer 1.8.1 for Mac Upon drawing a new artboard, one of the object moves in the document See attached files: movie showing the bug and PDF document. 2020_03_11-Affinity_Designer.mov replace_2g_densite+LB.pdf

I have the following problem: I have added Assets iOS12 (Assets in Affinity Designer) for Smartphone Design to artboard. When I change the height of the artboard, these smartphone assets suddenly jump to another place on the artboard. When one group these assets with Smartphone, this group is not visible on the artboard at all. How can these problems be solved?

File > New (any size) Add a rectangle. Duplicate rectangle. Select artboard tool Draw artboard larger than canvas 1st rectangle stays where it was, duplicate moves relative to it. Undo - artboard is removed, shapes remain in their incorrect positions. With a more complex document you get a complete mess. On a side note, is it time to move to having a 'stable' version that doesn't auto-update for people who aren't using it as a hobby?
