Are the View and Zoom Tool shortcuts not working? According to the Work Book double clicking on the hand should Zoom to Fit but it just zooms to an up close area. And double clicking the magnifying glass should zoom to 100%, but it just zooms close up like the view/hand tool. Using 1.8.6 Affinity on Mac OS 10.13.6.

Just another reminder to the dev team that the Zoom & View tools and contextual toolbar controls for managing zoom remain broken across the entire Affinity Suite as of the 1.8.4 release. Double-clicking the Zoom tool should result in the document being zoomed to 100% Double-clicking the View tool should result in the document being zoomed to fit. The Zoom pop-up in the contextual tool bar should be synchronized with the Zoom & View tools, as well as the Zoom slider in the contextual tool bar. The Zoom slider in the contextual tool bar should be synchronized with the Zoom & View tools as well as the Zoom pop-up in the contextual tool bar. Thank you for your attention. Mark

It is nice that all three applications now show the correct zooming when using the zoom tool (in the context toolbar). But I am still not seeing the expected behaviour when I double click on the hand tool ie zoom to fill (or fit on screen). Although using the hand tool and double clicking on the canvas or anywhere on the screen will still give me the fit to screen behaviour. Not a bug so much as a comment/heads up and thanks to the developers on the zooming showing up correctly and an "I wish ..."

I updated Photo, Designer, and Publisher to 1.8.3 and the hand ✋ and magnifying glass 🔎 resize functions do not work as expected.

Have just installed the Beta updates for Designer (1.8.2.0) and Photo (1.8.2.172). All of the Zoom controls appear to remain broken. Double-clicking the Zoom Tool *does* set the document zoom to 100%, however neither the Zoom pop-up menu nor the Zoom slider in the contextual toolbar report the change. If one then selects the Move Tool and then the Zoom Tool, the Zoom pop-up menu will refresh and reflect the actual zoom level. On the other hand, the Zoom slider in the contextual toolbar never updates to report the actual zoom level. Double-clicking the View Tool *does not* set the document zoom to “Fit”. Instead it sets the document zoom to 100%. The Zoom pop-up menu and the Zoom slider in the contextual toolbar are neither synchronized with each other, nor with the Zoom Tool or the View Tool.

Freshly installed v. 1.8.1 trying to bring the project to 100% zoom by double clicking on the loupe but nothing happens any idea why? Thanks

I just updated to the newest release of Designer, and the View Tool no longer zooms the document to fit the screen upon double-click. Is there a way to get this function back in settings, or a keyboard shortcut to replace it?

Hi, since updating to version '1.8.1' I seem to have a bug on Affinity. When I click the zoom tool icon in the tools panel it doesn't set the zoom to 100%. Is there a setting I'm missing here? Something I need to update in preferences or something? It's a really useful tool to be able to zoom in and out of views and it's a bit of a faff to have to change the magnification in the contextual panel. Any ideas?

Just updated to 1.8.0, and the view and hand tools don't work when I double click them.

Anyone has the problem on the hand tool, when I click double on the hand icon the view changed in 1,7 in 1,8 is not working (only On Mac, on Pc works fine), same problem with the zoom tool.
