  1. Hi, I have a rather strange problem with PDF. I have a client created editable PDF file (see attachment) which I open in Designer. And as soon as I export this file directly to PDF, it creates links around groups, mostly images. When I did the same procedure in Adobe Illustrator, the resulting PDF was fine. Any solution? 2. Importing a PDF from InDesign with shadows around text creates a very think line / box around the shadowed text -- at first I thought it was just an issue with my screen or the display, but the lines turn up in print as well. Please see the attached screenshot. A bit of investigation showed me that the text shadow consists of a dark grey rectangle and a mask that covers all but the shadowy part (bit like an inverse / negative shadow) -- the thin lines in the document are the borders of this dark grey rectangle (see attached screenshot, all THREE objects are part of the shadow). I can upload the file confidentially if you want to investigate, but cannot post it here.
  3. Hello, I'm fairly new to Affinity so hoping this is something simple, but i've recently gotten a presentation from a designer (probably originally designed in InDesign) and then sent to me as a PDF, and needed to tweak some words in it which I did by bringing it into Affinity, and when I exported it as a PDF there were little grey lines around each of the images and the colours seemed slightly different (the green was slightly duller). I have uploaded some pages below to show you what I mean, the Documents page and Flock Event Presentation are the original files, and the two screenshots are what that document looked like after I exported to a PDF (you can see a slight grey outline on the blue page around the phone). Original colours can also be seen on the website, www.flockplatform.com Hope you can help. Thanks! Simone
