  1. One of the oddities I found in this exercise was that when a Constraint is applied to a group like this attached 'Dimension' file I had to make the right and left hand strokes twice as thick as the horizontal one in order for them all to appear 0.5pt think. Is this a bug? Dimensions 2.afdesign
  2. Bonjour à tous lorsqu'on applique des contraintes sur des objets d'un groupe, cela provoque le rognage des contours des objets (voir capture). Cordialement. ***** Hello to all when constraints are applied to objects in a group, this causes the object contours to be trimmed (see capture). Cordially.
  3. Hey folks, So i've run into an odd bug/feature that i can't find any answers to. Essentially a grouping of paths with the stroke centered on the path looks as desires, but when i group it the group bounds size to the path and not the visible stroke. I realize a workaround would be to have the outer shape have an inner stroke, but i'm hoping to get a better fix. Below is a before and after grouping picture on the paths in question: Before grouping Before grouping with bounding boxes shown After grouping With bounding box shown You can see that the group bounding box fits to the path and not the stroke and hides the overflowing stroke as a result. Additionally, this only happens when grouping them all together, the corner shapes are grouped and do not show this effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Linc.
  4. Had once again a design task (dynamic distribution of rectangles), which I wanted to solve with " constraints" and was actually surprised that the well-known bug was still not fixed?! Actually it's a great function and a good selling point, but it can also make the work of a designer a lot easier. But only under the condition that this function also works 100% and it definitely doesn't work and this already since the introduction of Affinity Designer. But this was one of the few reasons why I said goodbye to Adobe Illustrator AD1.7.1.404_constraints_bug.afdesign
  5. Wanted to try and create a connector (for flow diagram type illustrations) using the new arrowheads on strokes feature. Create a number of lines, to form the connector. Add arrowheads to the start and end. Group. Apply a constraint to one of the objects in the group. Result: The arrowheads get clipped to the area of the group. Desired: The arrowheads are unaffected by the constraint.
