    So I've added a document below. I did custom text with the path tool in AD. When I use the 'expand stroke' function the appearance changes. It becomes thinner, and it shouldn't. The appearance also changes when I do exports via the export persona. I am using Affinity Designer v1.8.4 expand stroke difference.afdesign

    I am trying to expand a pressure stroke. The result looks different from the original. In the upper rectangular you see the original strokes in vector and outline viewing mode. In the lower rectangular is the result after applying Layer/Expand Stroke command. I expect both to be visually the same. The result though is much slimmer graphic element after expanding the stroke.

    Hello, When I draw a path that has a stroke that varies by pressure, "layer > expand stroke" defines an area smaller than the existing stroke. It looks like adding a stroke width to this new stroke can help as a workaround, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thank you for the great product! affinityExpandStroke.mp4
