  1. Hi, this is not an new problem special in 1076, but still last in 1076... A Publisher file contains placed images (afdesign, vectors etc.), made by AFDesigner. If you open the AFDesign file in Designer and the publisher file in Publisher, modifying the AFDesign file in Designer and save it, then switch to Publisher (alt + TAB), everything is ok, except Publisher produces almost every time wrong error messages like: corrupt file etc. (One can ignore them, because they are not true ...)
  2. Hi Thanks for the update...Just thought I would report this one! Working on a large new vector based image 1500x600mm with a series of stacked AD files.as usual!.. Previously I have adopted the method of just embedding AD files in a master using layers. Today I have been trying out the 'linked file' options. Sort of works! but each time I update a link file (Master+linked file is open (tabbed)) I get a 'file appears to be corrupt' warning...even though it is not!. The Master file updates anyway after I close the warning and switch tabs Also had a crash with no report attempting to paste a layer to second file in same process
  3. I'm updating a linked document outside of Designer and most of the time (but not always) I'm seeing the following error message popup at the same time as the notification that the linked document has changed. I'm guessing that this is a timing and/or locking issue, such that when the PDF is being written AD can't access it. I would be surprised if the file can't really be found. I suspect that the file cannot be accessed due to a lock during the write which isn't released until the write has completed. Maybe a "back-off and retry" or check for the file existing in the directory before reporting that it cannot be found.
