  1. Hello, I have discovered a bug in Affinity Publisher; when you export a (± 100MB) document, you get a modal-box to indicate the status. If you open another document while the export hasn't finished, the app will freeze… done it several times. Only solution is foreced quit.
  2. Affinity 1.8.4, Mac OS X 10.15.6, Mac Pro (Late 2013). Exporting hangs indefinitely if a file is opened at the same time. Steps to reproduce: Open a file Export file While file is exporting and the progress bar is visible, double click another image file in Finder to open it Edit, for example from menu Document -> Rotate 90 dgr clockwise "Export item" will stop progressing You can still do some things via menu, show about box and rotate the newly opened image. However, for example File -> Quit does nothing. Also Quit from context menu at the Dock does nothing, you'll have to resort to the Force Quit or good old kill -9. I was exporting and opening TIFF files, but have not tested if different file formats behave differently.
  3. As the title says: You can open another Publisher document while Publisher writes a PDF of another document. But this causes Publisher to freeze. Better to not being able to open a new document then. Would be great however, if Publisher let me work on my document while writing a PDF of another document.
