  1. There is an issue with using the glyph browser search facility when one has Affinity Publisher set up to use the light grey colour scheme. There is hardly any contrast showing for the highlighted background of the found glyph in the glyph browser when searching. I use the light grey set up as the default setup is too glaring for me and I do have the screen brightness turned down. Would it be possible to have the highlighted background a middle-deep flamingo pink please? Also, could you possibly add an insert selected character button please so that double-clicking is not obligatory, yet still available for those who choose to use it, please.- I can do double-clicking but some people find it a problem or impossible, so that is, in my opinion, a weak part of Affinity Publisher at present which could make the Glyph Browser effectively useless for some people. There is a thread about this in the discussion forum, with illustrations. I have tried to copy the link but have not been able to get that to work. Maybe someone will post a 'reply' and add the link if he or she knows how to do that please. William Overington Monday 28 January 2019
  2. Thank you for the latest beta version. I still cannot get the search facility of the glyph browser to work. Could someone possibly provide step by step instructions of exactly, precisely how to search for U+00b0 and then get the character into the document please? To me, the documentation is not clear. > Search—Enter a Glyph value, a Unicode value or a text phrase to locate a Glyph or Unicode character. For example, "G+0131", "U+00b0" or the phrase "degree" will all show the degree symbol, respectively. I am using the Arial font at 24 point in an ordinary text frame. William
